Hey I dont know if you still are active here on this channel but I know your son Jaxon cinco and I was wondering how you got access here I would love to fish here my friend Omar’s grandparents live right there
I do the same thing when I cast I switch to reel it In depending on where I’m trying to land my bait and which hand is most comfortable to cast with. Also I’m a fairly in experienced fisherman when it comes to anything more than fishing as a kid or just messing around. I’m recently taking it back up and am seriously wanting to get into some bass fishing. I live in one of the best county’s for bass fishing in America so they say. I’m in Florida. Any advice as to what I should start off with?
I’m actually lucky to be able to use Both a left and right hand reel. Just like you I fished as a kid and picked it back up as an adult. If you’re just getting back into it I’d use a weightless senko and Texas rig craw. Can’t go wrong with that. Chatterbaits are deadly in Florida. Focus on the basics and grow from there!!! Reach out if you need help.
Great review, looking to buy my first rod and will most likely be going with the 7’ Perigee II. Hoping that pairs well with the KastKing Megatron 2000 reel.
Fuck, action when you tweek it is like a squid jig, then when you give it a bit of oomph, it starts pumping along like a bait fish. I rate this. When will I be able to get one in Australia?
Some of my biggest bass has come out of this lake. I feel like it is fished too hard now, I really only catch small crappie and the occasional channel cat. Lot of fishing pressure at this lake now.
I have seen bass jump pretty good size as soon u pull in drive straight until u come up to this pier with a tree and buch lilly pads good spot sometimes
Exactly the setup I chose after extensive research, taking price into consideration. I am new to inshore fishing and thought that having two rod tips gives me more options. I only wish that Kastking would sell individual spools, so that I could change the poundage line to suit what I am fishing for.
I have to agree with some of the other comments that you can't do a efficient review of rods without using them.. I also agree that a IM8 is better than a 24 ton blank
I have used this technique for years and it really produces. One issue though is the split shot tends to slide on the cast regardless of how hard you pinch down..
Great video, the reason why Lews can sell it in that price point is because, they (Lews) know/notice that the average/topical angler don't really care about the gears as long as it sound cheap they will buy it and most tackle retailer don't carry KingKing gears so all they see is Lews stuff, but to be honest KingKing had way better rod component material when they build their stuff, I don't/never personal used KingKing stuff, but for the price they're worth every pennies, plus the reason why KastKing can sell their stuff affordable is because they eliminate the middle-men and just sell straight to the customer
