hi, im the tenor in this series of 4 videos. my excuse would be that the low brass and alto saxes were pretty loud🥲 i do realize i was a lot more quiet compared to now, but i was playing, unless you were trying to look at my fingers which the last alto was covering in this camera angle. however, i do hope you’ll hear the warmer sound of the tenor compared to the alto saxes, its just behind the low brass :) [i.e.0:20-0:47] the parts for low brass and tenor sax were really identical for the most part, the low notes were pretty hard to get out back then. [i.e. 1:54-2:19 {hidden lick} + 2:56-3:14 {low brass part up an octave?}]
@@Starz672 ty, but i really gotta thank my band director cause he was mostly the reason why i wanted to keep playing and get better, that and how competitive i was with the others
