It's a lot of fun to see how Heartlandraco can finish games that seem very complicated. I always played Traptrix without the Armored XYZ engine, but I admit that it makes me want to try it watching games like this.

In this event 1. Maxx C is banned so we can use Shared ride instead. this card is very useful in tnepai and centurion matchups 2. Tenpai dragon is everywhere. In this event 100% duels were to encounter synchro decks in which 90% were Tenpai and few were Centurion... To counter Tenpai, we must destroy the field spell as soon as possible, and never let our opponents successfully summon Transendent, by using nightmare trap hole to destroy the level 7 Dragion. We cannot use dimensional barrier, so use black goat laughs instead to prevent them summoning Transendent, then if the trap card in GY, activate it to stop opponents from using Chundra's effect (this orange dragon is super dangerous) 3. I cannot use the xyz Traptrix, so I used Atrax as a substitution for Rafflesia. Well she is kinda an downgraded version of Rafflesia, kinda useful if we draw hole trap at the end of our turn by the eff of butterfly.

In the Voiceless voice matchup, Im sure that he was super stressed because of not being able to bring Lo on the field, every attempt of him was completely disrupted 😝

Glad others are seeing the potential in Atrax, as it has a lot of untapped utility. Been running it at 1 in my deck for awhile. Break Off Trap Hole is interesting tech, since all the base Traptrix monsters have protection from "Hole" normal trap cards and the extra deck monsters have trap protection. You can even use I:P Masquerena to go into Atypus on your opponent's turn to proc it if necessary. Still have to watch out for Dark Ruler No More, but the deck already struggles against that anyways.

never try break-off trap hole, but it is so-wow card that can replace Torential tribute and is searchable (of course!). at least I can take off 2 torential tribute and replace them with break off trap hole and another card. Cool in this case I also replace Allormerous with the Phoenix link monster. Remember only co-linked monsters are not destroyed bi break-off trap hole. So if you activate the trap with Rafflesia, every monster even Sera are destroyed

What are your thoughts on Traptrix Atrax? I have her at 1, and don’t use her often but when I do she’s pretty useful because of the non negatable handtrap hole cards. I’ve even managed to negate 2 handtraps on turn 1 because she was on the field (gravediggers) and go into full combo. Not to mention, pair her with sera and mantis, and I’ve ended up with 4 traps on field and 6 in hand for 10 interruptions.

I've been experimenting with this deck, I added infernal flame banshee, agnimal candle and baronne or any good synhcro staple. When banshee detach material, it search Agnimal candle and when it add to hand, it can be special summon and it's a level 4 tuner. Not good for first turn but I add it just for fun l. :)

Is there a particular reason you always Link summon S:P Little Knight before XYZ summoning Heartlandraco?

For those who are struggled with Voiceless Voice matchup. I also have crafted a voiceless voice deck, so I'm pretty knowing about this deck. To counter it, you should follow this order 1. always try your best to kick Lo out off the field or GY, by using called by grave or d.d crow or whatever you have. Skull guardian is just like a meat-bag without Lo (remember destroy skull guardian when Lo is not on the field) 2. about its backrow, always to destroy barrier first. If you think can overcome all disruptions from the opponents, forget the spells, use my little steroid heartlandraco to end the game 3. droll and lock bird is the best handtrap to stop voiceless voice 4. remember if you imperm at Lo, she cannot be used for the full material to ritual summon the light monsters. That's the point you guys should remember as you can see in the voiceless voice matchup, I try my best not to allow my opponent to have both Lo and Skull Gaurdian on the field. If Lo is, get her out, if Skull Gaurdian is, get him out

TIP: I always save Flowerdino for the right moment so not usually drop it early, but in this match I should do that because it's Spright deck. Who know he would summon Spright carrot or red or not, then it would be a great disadvantage in my turn. So I summon flowerdino whose atk is 2000 enough to eliminate those harsh monsters before I went the Traptrix combo line. one more thing, flowerdino is a unpopular monster (or maybe Im the only user of it), so he had no clue what deck I was using to have a preparation.
