15 when this came out. I think it set the tone for me having a major thing for beautiful tom boys like Kristy. And married one. 30 years later, she is still a beauty.
Wow! I sure never knew this one existed. Was/is there no END to his virtuosity ?? ❤ Thank you so, so much for posting this! Anthony Newley… You’re the true Miracle Man here once again.
Please bear in mind, everyone… He memorized all those lyrics. All those literally HUNDREDS (well: at least many, many, many dozens…) of songs in his repertoire. Do you know how hard that is? I have sung professionally, here and there. And the older you get… Let me tell you. The man did not use cue cards. Beyond Astounding!
The Jo and Laurie here are incredible! Laurie is deceptively difficult to sing and he did amazingly. The Jo is SUCH an outstanding actress. Shame the orchestra was mic’ed up so badly though. Pretty much flawless production otherwise.
Fun fact: The parking lot seen at the end of this clip is located in downtown Atlanta. In the mid 1980s, it would become known as the CNN Decks, where employees of CNN Center, across the street, would park. Also, note the former headquarters of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper and the “Sanford and Son” billboard for Ted Turner’s local TV station, WTCG, seen briefly in the background.
Precious video. The great woman blossoming and enthralling us....live. The greatest concert I've ever seen live was Dar in Montclair NJ. Outpost In The Burbs. At a great old church, filled to capacity and she mesmerized us. Unforgettable.
oh wait...is that the actual music used in a actual film??? I only knew the sing from the warriors game on ps2 but been listening to it since .. guess I'm going to get a copy of this film now ......
Please NEVER take this down. This was my first introduction to Little Women both as a musical and a movie. I fell in love with this musical because of this amazing cast! It's my absolute favorite <3
Thank you ever so much for I made it here the story of the lady Lupita the co-optional words with a cartoonist X I want me to come out of my nauseating 10 short of my address.
❤ I was 12 when the movie came out, begging my parents to take me see it because Kristy McMichael was my idol [and a friend told me me about she kicking a guy in the balls]....I was a tomboy too 😂
I was an extra in the big fish that was with Robert Giliaume then saw him in person at a book signing .he was talking about acting and was very vague about it. I did not know what the hell he was talking about.
