As I have said before, I find it more impressive you can map out your own level from scratch, I'm just copying old Tomb Raider levels into Minecraft lol. All the areas just flow nicely into each other and connect perfectly.
@@stumpy4770 thank you 😅 I could be putting more effort into them however. I build without a plan beforehand..I just kind of build and see where it goes. Imagine if I had a plan! Haha!
@@Cakepiecookies haha, well that means you are a natural at it .I don't have the imagination to build out of my head, it's like drawing for me, I'm great at drawing something in front of me, but drawing from my imagination, I can't :( But you obviously can build from your imagination :)
Far from finished !? Looks like a complete level to me, looks great. What's a WADS ? Oh I see those Nightmare in Vegas textures lol. Your Anvil attic looks cool, I'm guessing Anvil is a band you like ? and are those posters of real bands you like ?
Thanks! There's still lots to add, like more puzzles, windows and doors in some areas, more rooms, etc. WADS are just the files for all the objects you see like plants, tables, chairs, doors, and so on.. Anvil is a Canadian metal band formed in the 80s, and the rest are a mix of bands I like and my friends'/familes' local bands. I am surrounded by A LOT of music lol Fitting that my name is Melody 🤣
@@Cakepiecookies I can't wait to see the finished level. Ah WADS are the assets (I think that's what they are called lol) My friend in Alberta got me listening to a few Canadian bands, one of her favourite is Pearl Jam (not sure they are heavy enough for you lol) But when she came over a few years back, I sang Just Breathe on the karaoke for her (yes I am quiet a good singer lol). But I'll have to listen to some tracks by Anvil now :) Oh that is your real name ? nice name, I thought it was just your RU-vid name. I'm sure you grew up around a lot of music then.
@@stumpy4770 Pearl Jam is great! I lean towards the heavier side of things but I have a great appreciation for most rock in general :) You must be a pretty decent singer because Pearl Jam's vocals are very particular! For Anvil, a good place to start is March of the Crabs, Metal on Metal, and Forged In Fire! They're not overly fast and heavy. Just good old fashioned metal.
@@Cakepiecookies If I say so myself lol, I'm good at singing, but I can't perform to save my life, while singing. My brother likes to perform his songs when he sings lol. Oh Metal on Metal was the first song in an 80 song playlist lol. I'll search out the others you mentioned. There was a famous club in Liverpool, The Krazyhouse (it's called K1 now), 3 floors of different music types, ground floor was heavy metal, it was my favourite floor, music bangin, and ALL the girls were hot rock chics and goth chics lol. A good friend of mine is a Thrash metal head.
lolol Are these all one episode of the programme ? I'm not very good at keeping up with story lines, why I don't care about the story in games, I just play them without a clue about why I'm doing things lol.
This one is a mix of two episodes.. I did them all in a way where each video had bits from the first episode to the next, in chronological order. I think all together I've included 10 episodes so far. It's hard to follow the story line because each episode is its own thing. I'm the same way when it comes to storylines in games... I think I only really started paying attention to the classic Tomb Raider story lines only recently lol
@@Cakepiecookies Ah I see. Each classic Tomb Raider story, to me, is, Lara wants an artifact that someone else is after, but Lara wants it more. That's enough of a story for me lol. Finished Stellar Blade, loved it, not a clue what it's about lol.
Good job! This is pretty hilarious! I remember hearing that the creators of this show actually had a lot of trouble with the network censors at ABC during the first two seasons of the show. There actually were a number of jokes early on about network censoring due to the frustration of the creators. For example, real guns with bullets weren't allowed in the show so they instead made a bazooka that shot out a rubber raft in one episode and guns that shot bubbles in another. In another episode, Bob was supposed to crash through a glass window, but instead the glass doesn't shatter as Bob uses Glitch's "BS&P" function (Business Standards & Practices). Another episode, Bob was in an RPG and got stuck using a butter knife instead of an actual knife. They even had a character in a talent show episode who was a censor that kept dismissing most of the acts for being too offensive to children much to the chagrin of Dot.
That's right!! Also, if you remember when they showed shots of Mainframe, there was this sort of binary code banner running through the city. Apparently it's meant to say "🖕you BSP" in binary 🤣 Thanks for the kind words, it's actually pretty time consuming to put these together, and getting the timing precise is pretty difficult. Sometimes, once the video is processed and I play it back, the "beeps" don't always seem to be in the exact spot that I placed them. It's a lot of trial and error. Thanks SO much for watching and commenting!
lolol The picture of the bird at 0:52 is great lol, but what is his actual hand doing ? Is it just a fist ? It's crazy our minds just fills in, what's not there lol.
He's just making a fist! The writers of the show were forced to abide by these really strict guidelines, so I think they tried to slip in a few hints here and there.. which makes it super easy for me lol
@@Cakepiecookies Ah, thought so. But isn't this a kids show ? I'm sure I have seen this on TV years ago, not when I was a kid, but just in passing. What's it called ?
@@stumpy4770 it's called Reboot, it was a Canadian kid's show that ran from 1994 to 2001. It takes place inside a computer, and all the little "people" that live inside it to make it run 🤣. It was actually the very first full length CGI show that was created. I know it aired in the UK so it's possible you've seen it in passing! I think a lot of the computer lingo in this show would be hard for kids to understand nowadays.
@@Cakepiecookies Oh Reboot sounds familiar, and I remember the excitement over a cartoon being the first full CGI show. I would have been 24 when it started, so yes, not my thing at the time lol.
Haha, naughty you! I've been ripping my hair out trying to master level building so I'm giving it a break for good old play throughs. You've been on an uploading roll!
@@Cakepiecookies Haha don't tell Lara lol. I saw your last video of your build, I thumbed it up, but didn't comment. I think that is the hardest thing to do, design your own levels, and you do great. I tried doing it in Minecraft, and they were rubbish, so give up and went back to remaking Tomb Raider levels lol. Uploading hour long gameplay of games, is the easiest/laziest way for me to upload lol.
Thanks for the encouragement! I run out of steam pretty fast though. Ideas don't always flow... But you're right, play throughs are the easiest way to get an upload in lol. I do enjoy it though! It's part of my "recharge" time :)
@@Cakepiecookies True, as a joiner by trade, I love creating things, but unfortunately, I'm unable to create stuff like that any more, so Minecraft is that creative recharge for me :)
No point at all anymore..plus this version gives a much better experience on newer computers. With the originals you need fixes and patches and all that for them to look normal. I have all the originals too.. but now I guess I have double 🤣
@@Cakepiecookiesyou know it's like a dream. When we see our homes , schools ,our neighbourhood , our workplace isn't everything a little different with some twisted and spooky vibes. Well it's feels like this. And i love it.
I think they were just what we were asking for. They're tastefully done remasters on the same engine as the originals. I always dreamed of an actual remake of TR2, the same way Anniversary was done, but maybe the fans will take care of that one day 😁
No way I finally found a video with this glitch! I've discovered something similar when I was a kid but instead of water using a ladder to broke the animation, but unfortunately when I've come back to this game years later I've never be able to replicate it, thank you!!!
I'm glad you found it helpful! In the description, I linked to where I found the instructions. It's probably not easy to tell what I'm doing just by looking at it. Thanks for watching!
In 28 years, I've never used a cheat for Tomb Raider, but these remasters are making me use 2 lol, to get trophies for the PS5. I haven't done the level cheat one yet, so I'll be coming back to this video when I eventually do it 😁
You're a true player! I was 10 when I first got introduced to the games in 1998, and I was a lazy POS (and couldn't grasp the concept of puzzles) so of course I went straight for the cheats 😆..However, the instructions I gave are for the PC and I'm not sure if it's the same for PS5. I'm sure the info can be found fairly easily though :)
@@Cakepiecookies I'll let you off, as you were a child. I couldn't use that excuse, I was almost 3 times older, and should have been able to solve the puzzles, though there were a few that took me days to solve, especially in TR 3, Last Revelations and Chronicles.
I think the PS cheats were a bit different! There was a bit of false info going around, tricking people into thinking they were skipping a level or getting all weapons but she would just explode instead lol. Each game had different cheats too.
Yes they changed those cheats: I have the originals and looked on internet to see if they were the same or not. I usually only use level skip whenever I want to replay levels.
