Welcome to my channel of videos of my digging adventures! My son will be joining me for most of the adventures as he learns about history and the civil war. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
@@masonmercmetaldetecting thank you! Kade and I have checked out some of your videos as well! We love the adventures. Glad to see other dads getting kids out to dig and save some history.
It was great hunting with you! We will have to get back to that spot soon. Also John will be reaching out about a potential last river hunt for this year.
Nice video…Ive been running V6 since I got my machine and have been very hesitant to do the update but this gives me some confidence in it. Thank you !
Give it a shot and see if you like it. Just write down your saved programs because it will wipe them. If you don’t like it you can always go back to .6. I’ll be taking 1.10 out to a civil war site tomorrow and hopefully making a video so stay tuned!
@@DigginWithDad Cool, i've been trying settings but I still get most nails around 83-85, bouncing between ferrous and non ferrous. I almost always find them around 4-7" deep.
I used general as my base with my freq set to 24. I have been switching back and forth between full tones and pitch. I have always loved pitch tones. I have another relic program with sensitive FT as the base and it works really well also.
@@DigginWithDad I’ll have to keep playing with them. Was always a FT base user with the D1 but switched to general and fast with the D2. Thanks for the info
Indeed it has. You have to go into settings and turn the FE ID feature back to off. With the new 1.1 update they have to set to be on automatically which will pull the VDI down. It works great with it turned off
Thank you! What discrimination are you running? I have heard a few people mentioning that they are having falsing issues. Mine only falsed on two large iron pieces.
