"I wanna see dolphins in space, I don't know why." Star Trek actual canon is that they've especially good at 3D navigation -- and were always aboard the oversized TNG Enterprise D tho not shown. Geordie mentions them once in a barely heard moment.
While the masterpiece of "2001" has always remained strong, "2010" started off with a "mid" reputation and was criticised as maybe answering TOO much. It's more popular now than ever. I took the finale "Don't go to Europa" more hopefully than you--"Leave alone this baby life we just started so it can really happen too."
There's a spoilery plot reason I always recommend the theatrical cut of this film and the longest special cut of all the others. Also thematically for the others more is more, while for this one less is more.
"I'm just as guilty as he is." That was the point of Hitchcock's movie. He turned an entire audience into voyeurs. Beneath the simple plot of the movie is a much deeper statement about human behavior.
First few minutes: folks watching this movie actually had NO IDEA Sigourney Weaver would be the star. She was debuting admist an ensemble of veteran actors. It's a bit insidery, but she already came from a Hollywood family and was primed to hit big.
The tardis looks like a brownish tube with a door whilst it is on Gallifrey. When it lands anywhere else it then takes on different shapes but like the doctor said, the chameleon circuit broke in 1969
Catherine Tate and David Tennant have an insane level of chemistry, and I HIGHLY recommend looking for *anything* that has the two of them together. I can only imagine the energy on set while they filmed this season, I like to think that anyone who worked on it recognized they were in the presence of magic.
Super excited for this. Might consider having someone mod your comments. People have a hard time not getting ahead of themselves. It’s hard not to but you do NOT want to be spoiled on anything. Let’s goooooooo
I really should lol. I'm currently two months ahead for channel members & patrons so that helps a bit. So far so good with The Expanse! I finished book 1 spoiler free.
READ THE BOOKS they more or less line up book to season, the show ends after the 6th book/season and the last three are totally worth it. As far as differences goes, there are some cut events and some characterization was changed, but the show is generally quite faithful. there is actually a surprising number of things that a lot of people who have seen both feel the show did better. Unfortunately I can't say more without spoilers
Realizing how Saul named his unborn son after Bill hurts even more, it also affirms Ellen's statement when she said that he loves neither her or Caprica but Bill Adama.
The bee thing isn’t a plot point; it’s something that’s really (currently) happening. There’s a massive honeybee die-off, and they’re not sure why it’s happening. This is concerning because of how much we rely on bees for pollination, including the pollination of crops.
