hello you talk about members can download sample program and put it on sd card but i cant find it on your youtubepage ??? it was one of the reasons to the membership please can you help me how to get it
@@degezondekeuken4867 hi, we just recently had to move this over to Patreon due to some isussed YT was giving us here sharing files. You can cancel this membertion and sign up on Patreon and you have access to to all the files there including the sp1200 samples www.patreon.com/malobeats?
Recording into DAW. Doing what you talked about with Recording in to DAW as one stereo traxk can also be done track by track. So you sort of gets the stems. Takes a little bit more time, and you have to do the FX One track at the time (While the rest of the Tracks Are muted) 😊
@@KeemOne 100, this is the way I’m used to doing it since I would do this in my MPC 2000 XL so even now that I have this modern MPC, I still do it exactly the way you mentioned which is a great workflow in general plus for some reason, I still feel like it sounds better
Im stuck. I'm mainly a daw producer and that will never change however i've been looking to get a mpc on the side. I prefer the overall look, price, layout and dedicated buttons on the one but that battery, speaker and overall portability on the live is such a huge factor to me too. I genuinely can't decide which one i'll pick up. What would u recommend?
That’s a tough one because of the speaker and portability is a MUST HAVE then I would just go with the LIVE 2 but at the same time, you also want something that encourages you to want to use it so I know you say you like the layout of the MPC one it’s a tough choice brother, they both do the exact same thing. It’s just a portability on that LIVE makes a big difference
@malobeats really appreciate u for getting back at me bro🙌🏾 gonna think about it sum more but i'm most likely gonna cop the live 2. Been binging these videos to do my proper research lately and you helped me out a ton! Keep up the fye content and beats‼️
I have a problem with the update every time I go to record either a progression or I want to open the sampler an alert appears that says please check temporary path in preferences and memory use how can I solve that I hope you can help me
Congrats! Whenever I hear the SP1200, it feels like home. The first music I deeply fell in love with as a kid back in the 90s was Hip Hop, so that 12 bit ring is pure bliss for my ears. I hope to get one too at some point.
Are you able to just grab whole sections of the arrangement and move them around? Like for example if I have different parts to a verse and i decide I want to switch them around, can I just select two bars and physically move them, or do I have to do some weird shit?
Hey Malo, thanks for such quality content, for real. Just upgraded to Mpc 3.0 beta and willing to purchase stems sep on standalone mode, can you tell me if it works fine on 3.0 ? Thanks !
@@TheChillinchill it’s not available in the 3.0 update as of right now but we will have it in 3.0 in our next updates so I can’t tell you if it works good or not just yet we will have to see they give us the next beta update but it sure will be available. Thank you brother I really appreciate you taking the Time
@@MrRahlo42 hey thank you so much. I just looked into it and noticed it as well. I just updated that video so it should be good in a few minutes. I really appreciate you taking the time, brother.
A lot of people complaining, but song mode is still there. Just stitch multiple arranged (or non arranged) sequences together in song mode as you would in 2.x
ZZounds link in the beginning of the video is legit, The videos are very useful too I have been using a MPC Studio Black most of the features on the software are the same just the buttons and layouts are a little different, Thanks
Starting my journey in beat making with zero experience or knowledge in this field. So far, your channel has been the most helpful. Thanks for your help and keep up the good work!
Hey fam! Amazing work-I’m still vibing with this even after two years! Could you share what filter or color grading you used in the intro? Also, what font or template did you go with for the title and its color? It’s such a vibe!
What would be the approach to arrange old projects with different sequences? Is it to make sequence from all the sequences in song mode and then move and arrange? Or there is a way to add or copy paste different sequences as you go on the arranger?
I got a question… and you seem to have these MPC units fairly well understood…. Can I track a beat out from the MPC One+ into protools? WITHOUT putting stereo outs into an interface and muting tracks, recording each one, individually, then quantizing in protools lol
Man i got a problem, just bought the sp and as soon as i hit record after selecting a par for the pattern i already hear the preset things going on, what i do
Deffly dope there just needs to be shortcuts to delete instead of having to click the pencil icon/ edit menu and then hit cut on every track you want to delete something from. It Kinda makes it take longer. if you could tap the track and select the area you want to delete you should be able to use one button to just delete without all the extra steps. Would be even better if you could select multiple tracks at once and delete the parts you don’t want in that section instead of having to go one by one. Until then it would be better and faster to arrange on computer rather than standalone, but dope for quick stuff.
* the channel mixer doesn't show all the pgms, just the pgm you're on * Can't adjust the top loop bar in grid mode. * If you make a beat on sequence 1 and then go to the next blank sequence, it has all the tracks you created previously. So you can’t start with a blank slate. And if you delete those tracks, they are also deleted from sequence 1. I like to make multiple Beats in one project. Sometimes I flip the same sample a different way or just make a completely new track. I need a blank canvas each time
Could you do a quick video showing how to set up my pads? Like where you put your kicks ,snares, hats samples and bass? Also can you give a quick example of what certain instruments sound like so I can recognize them. Like whats the difference between a hi hat and a regular hat or what a snare sounds like. Whenever you have time I know you’re very busy. I would greatly appreciate it and thank you for keeping your word with the updated 3.0 for the master class course
finaly they made the point because we will still use these MPC Generation in 20 years as evergreens like the old school legends of the MPC's... WELL DONE AKAI!!!!! KEEP GOING!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
