That is a beautiful rifle!!! That build has come up reaaaaaaaaaal nice.. You may have gone a touch heavy on that HBN on the projectiles though... Was the bullet seating force higher than normal?
The way the HBn is applied means it ends up embedded in the bullets jacket. It doesn't alter the diameter of the bullet like moly used to.and because it's a lube it actually makes seating easier
@@stephenhowl5306 I use it also, applied with a burnishing drum filled with 0.6 sized SS ball bearings. I was initially over applying the HBN like that which is evident in your video. Once I started removing the excess the SD/ES numbers came down... If it's working for you that thick, go for gold mate!
Hi! Stephen, Just bought one identical (1955 as per S/N). I live in Canada. Where can I buy spare parts (Can. or US) for that beauty? Runs great but I would like to look in advance regarding maintenance. I use it in the field. Thanks in advance. Roger from Québec.
terry kessel is great for panels ,seats , gear knobs , steering wheels ,gauges and the likes . the continental engine parts are available from any ag parts stores like ag kits, steinertractor, walts tractors ,jen sales , yesterdays tractors ,even found bits on amazon. burch store tractors is good for second hand stuff.
A 327 can make that Horse Power , you should have upped the compression ratio , Let me guess , you used Blue Fel-Pro head gaskets ? That's a mistake You lost 50hp right there , If the heads were more than 58cc , another 50hp That thing should be close to 600hp
@@stephenhowl5306 Oct. 2018 and it's going in a truck , not a race car , So , over 3 years and it hasn't gone in the truck yet Not going in a race car but it goes on the Dyno So when does a longevity Truck need Aluminum heads Let me guess again , it was you that painted it Robin egg blue I remember my first small block engine build , I was 17 years old and did a better job than you , I have built more now than your entire family has fingers and toes , i have 20 myself , I have one from 1983 and it still runs , how's that for longevity
I enjoyed watching your nicely made video on your Pacer. I was very surprised when you showed the label on your Pacer and saw that it was the same as on mine! I had been trying to find info on my Pacer. I find a lot of info on the MH Pacer but the label on mine just says No.16 Tractor By Massey-Harris-Ferguson. I could find no reference to ANY tractor that has all three names. Can you or anyone you know explain this or tell me the manufacture date? Maybe we have something rare?? I appreciate any response. Thanks, Bob
