A channel dedicated to the home solar plant. I publish a list every month. On the channel, I also put videos about photovoltaic topics. Photovoltaic systems and curiosities, experiments and practical observations. Two installations. on the roof with shade and on the ground. Factors affecting the real system productivity. I invite you to the discussion forum facebook.com/OZEnergii
That whole thing can drop down into that water, it's a special machine made for that, but they can't get a machine that will do what that guy does? We all agree that's dangerous for him
That ceiling was not rated for that situation. It reminded me of the bar fire on Rhode Island, where the insulation (soundproofing) caught fire after the band had flash pots that ignited in minutes. So many dead. The Great White was playing, and lost a guitarist. People were jammed into the door frames stacked ten deep. Horrifying.
According to Forbes, electric vrhicles are about 11 times less likely to catch on fire than gas-powered vehicles. On the other hand, the fires are demonstrably far worse. So basically you are far, far, far less likely to be in it-dramatically so- but much, much more likely to die in it if you do. You could think of it as similar to the tradeoff between driving cross-country and flying.
Good old lithium batteries they are so unstable and that’s why I would not own the electric car. They just blow up and start a fire. A friend of mine worked at Rivian auto in the battery department and he said the battery are so unstable they were just blowing up all the time.
