I see there’s significant ignorance here it’s almost humorous. Moving to Isreal is a very very difficult endeavour for many people for multiple reasons regardless of your financial income. Firstly, In the real world people who own (for your example sake) a $800,000 home can’t afford to leave the country because they’re income is contingent on living solely in America. It’s called cash flow, they need money to come in constantly to sustain that lifestyle. However the moment they stop so does everything else. Getting a job in the Israeli market that pays decently is also very challenging this is including after networking and acquiring a degree. It’s fairly common for many to move to Israel via groups like Nefesh B’nefesh to make Aaliyah and soon move out again. This is because they can’t sustain a healthy lifestyle when there isn’t any “tangible funds” coming in. So to be clear it’s not about endorsing Israel nor being against it, it’s about being real and honest to what reality there is.
@@souled4542 Thanks for the condescension. I'm sure it helps everyone. Your points are kind of obvious. It's always a difficult move to immigrate to any country. Yes, Israel has special difficulties but people make a decision like that with their eyes hopefully wide open but also with a bit of idealism too. Like many life decisions you only know if it's right if attempted. An unsuccessful aliyah isn't fatal, plus there's always the chance for a second try. Immigrant help groups give practical assistance and like anywhere it can take time to find your way.
