I honestly appreciate the kind words. Had to edit this video myself because I lost my job and can't afford editing right now and I actually was going for like 2010 vibes so sounds like it worked lol
Secret Zoids After you beat the game go to the title screen and enter the codes quickly, before the demo starts. (note: you can input codes more then once.) Effect Code Diablo Tiger, Cyclopes Type One/Two Zoid Data and Zoid Cores L, L, R, R, Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Left, R, R, Right, Right, Left, Up, Start King Gojulas, Gilvader Zoid data and Zoid Cores R, R, L, L, Down, Up, Down, Up, Right, Right, L, L, Left, Left, Right, Down, Start
I was fine with the core vs data split. It makes you learn very early to use Supplier or Data Gather as often as possible and time them properly. Lost plenty of winnable boss fights trying to drag it out one more turn to get the core/data, LOL. It helps to read something like gamefaqs as you play or at least skim it before every major arc. So you know what are the valuable data, cores, parts, members, commands to pick up. I think a couple of the Redler/Gojulas/Kong bosses in particular were like this. Also I think everyone that leaves you can get back later, so it isn't that big a deal to me. If anything It makes you more creative and forces you to be more tactical in team composition, instead of leaning on Bit and his UX core Liger Zero. That was pretty standard RPG action to me. Also the Organoid system with Pulse was very intriguing. It was really cool to try to plan your levels/colors to get the skills you wanted. What I didn't like was that it was missing a few Zoids universes like the one with the Murasame Liger. But that's likely because there are 4 Zoids GBA games (Zoids Saga 1-4) and we only got one (Zoids Saga 2, iirc). As amecha fan, I really enjoyed this game and its battle system and I hate the others never got translated. And in Legacy a lot of the translation was really crappy.
Just got this as a Ad. But I will say, I have never heard of a demo review because a demo review isn’t as good as a full game review. I feel like for a review I rather trust someone who has played the full game instead of the demo to a buy product.
I agree completely, This is one of my all time favorites too. Yeah the grinding can be a little annoying at times and the random encounters are not the best, but over all it is an awesome game! I just wish there were a few more original zoids and not quite so many "upgraded" models. And of course my personal favorites were on the lower end of battle power, lol.
I was curious about the Zoid's series after the recent Zoids game released on Switch. I'm totally gonna check out Legacy soon, this video has convinced me to give it a shot
