John had serious trauma around abandonment, his mother and father. Both parents are important but not having a mother’s love is more damaging in my experience.
Well now there is nobody left too tell the Beatles story, I always felt ringo was a pupit for paul,George said more about the Beatles then paul ever did in his short life.
This ....guy asking questions...who wrote the questions? Paul talks a lot about going over to George's to eat, and then the ukuleles came out...if u dig and change someone's comment--nowing perfectly ur just a dik trying to get George to say negative stuff...put it this way, the best pop/rock ballad band ever, most sold, most envied, studied, copied, thru Vietnam, thru Nixon and everything...the 4 really were together and I believe the end was obviously, inevitable, and if the lawyers gave all 4 the exact same check amount then all smiles, but it never works that way, and people pick sides or individuals to blame or champion, but it's all bs....they really changed the world.
These “Threetles” sessions really should be properly mixed and officially released. Even if it’s just a simple 10” ep for something like record store day.
George had a little brother complex. He seemed to judge people based on how well they mentored him. When Paul couldn’t be his hero, John became it. When John couldn’t be it, the Maharishi, then Bob Dylan. He never seemed quite satisfied enough to become a mentor himself, always a student, hungry for more wisdom and love and guidance.
George clearly couldn't wait to get out of there and get the McCartney Monkey off his back. Then he could head back to his emotionally mature buds in the Wilburys and collaborate as a group. Can you imagine if one of the Wilburys tried to pull this Boss Paul crap on the others? They would soon be a Won't-bury! LOL
I wish they would stick together as a band against Allen Klein. Paul was the one that understood they were screwed, and the rest of the band admitted it in hindsight.
Sad to see these rather salty answers from George regarding Paul which fly in the face of his perpetuated "love everybody" attitude. Folks who love everyone don't give snarky answers about their supposed friends, they give more tactful answers. I mean given Paul's refusal to work with him it may have been justified for George to feel that way but you have to be the bigger person when you claim to be about love and not hate. George was definitely holding his grievances in and biding his time to let it all out.
George was so jealous of Paul and such a hypocritical jerk like John. He was always putting Paul down. Without Paul there would have never been The Beatles as they were, Paul was The Beatles! George and John grew increasingly jealous that they were growing creatively or psychologically like Paul. So they publicly starting attacking him.
Some rock drummers augment the melody line with a style of drumming that seems as much a gift as a talent. At the moment only Jim Gordan, Jeff Pocaro, and Hal Blaine come to mind, all with a knack for catching the beat to a melody line and thusly making a a song unforgettable.
Specter thought this was too busy sounding for the song, so he had it dubbed out !!, I think that Clapton's part should have been attenuated a bit to blend in with the rest of the music!
