At Master of None we cover the projects and hobbies that pass through my garage. Blacksmithing, camping, reviews, household, cooking.. pretty much anything interesting that's happening on the weekend. Entertaining and perhaps sometimes educational.
Put the round on the ground and kneel on it so it doesn’t move, stop fighting to do it the hardest way possible… could be so much easier if you just thought before doing it… the bigger question is how is it holding up after a year?
Was that a fly in your mash tub you put the grain over??? If I noticed it you should have done. And I am in England . Is it 3000 . Miles away . So my eye sight is not bad then from this distant. To spot the fly? . Just come across your vid on the settlers auger along with your son . Great . Honest video . And interesting to watch . ( I was looking at an auger variety . On Google . To see what the uk prices were and the best deal . When I found you vid . And I enjoyed your blog ) so that's how I came across you . Then decided to watch you brew . 😮 what does the brew taste like? And is it a winner with yourself. Would you buy the brew kit again? Best regards to you and family from the UK
Sometimes it makes more sense to use the settlers tool before you cut the log w/a saw. If you have to hold the log as you are doing you loose so much torque and your energy is wasted. Whenever you use this tool the less effort you exert holding the log the more energy goes into the tool. A follow up vid??
On a new clutch should the pulley spin freely or be tight? I just ordered one and it’s very difficult to turn the pulley straight out of the package. Thanks
If you manifold two tanks together you now are pulling less from each tank thus slowing the rate of the lpg going from a liquid to a gas therefore evading the freeze ups.
The crappy thing with all these clutches is the fact you can't just press out the bearing. The bearing fails...you have to replace the whole unit. Why do they do that 😮
I hope you didnt use red threadlocker on that small pulley bolt😂 I would just use new bolt and torque properly, just in case you need to remove that pulley in the future for any reason😂
Tip. If you wanna keep your price straight and get a more even “upset”. Stick it in a short piece of pipe that has the inside diameter of roughly what you want the larger diameter of your rod to be. Then just wack it with a hammer a few times and wallaa.
In my case, I need to take the clutch off to replace the belt, but the bolt won’t budge and the motor just turns over if you put a impact wrench on it what’s your suggestion?
I was able to remove mine with the impact but when I torqued it back on I found a spot on the shaft I could hold with large channel lock. You could try that.
@@MasterofNone2 Thanks for the information however, I was able to get a curved jaw vice grips just below the pulley on top and after that I was able to get thebolt out. 🙂
A trick I literally just used before watching this video is I pour hot water over the tanks and regulator to keep things flowing smoothly. I live in my RV and use two, 100 pound tanks for supply and in this current weather we've been having, it's currently 4 degrees F outside, and I was awakened this morning at 5:00 am. to the sound of the heater trying to fire but it couldn't. I went out to check and sure enough, everything was frozen. I couldn't even turn the switch over valve on the regulator! I went inside and filled two, one gallon water jugs with hot tap water, my water heater runs at 140 degrees, took them outside and thawed everything out. I just poured the water over the regulator, line and the tank currently in use as it wasn't even near empty, and before I used up the first gallon, everything went back to running fine.
Hmm I have been saying that wrong for a lot of years, thanks. As for the importance of getting everything right in a video I suggest you watch the rest of my catalog, I get something wrong in every one. 👍
Completely gave up on the Latin,. I need to do some figuring out on how to put the drinking small beer video together. Might have to voice over some of the footage or something, it's not really coming together on it's own.
Moses gave Hoshea son of Nun the name Joshua (Numbers 13:16) The joke goes: Who in the bible did not have a parents..... Joshua (Hosea) because he was the son of none (Nun).
Try rapping the end of drill with leather piece, glove or cloth rag so it is easier to hold. The wood crafts tool and projects have a learning curve to get good at the skill. Watching a video on how to do it or have teacher show me is what I will do. Tool seemingly works if it holds up to uses then it is good.
I think you fire was far to large for 1 piece of meat; cooking at a low temp, over a greater period of time may work out a little better for you. Thanks for the video.
