I hate to say it, but when a print spoiled my PEI sheet, I peeled the rest off with NO heat - just my bare hands - it came in pieces. Then I rubbed the glue off the way you do rubber cement. It was tougher, but I did it while waiting for printing and watching THIS video. NO HEAT, NO CHEMICALS.
While the motors are a concern, I've had them burning to the touch before, and yes, they can have issues when that hot. 40-50*C aren't really a worry imo though. My experience is that the cold end can get too hot and cause heat creep clogs in fully enclosed systems. Granted, that was using PETG and not something like ABS or something higher temp, but a water cooled cold end should be a consideration when doing an enclosure. I'd also worry about the power supply and the brain board being in the heated area. Both of those you want to keep pretty cool for longer life.
Since I’m not going into coffee commercially this machine would do me nicely, maybe a pillow slip or something like that you could initially just tip the roaster upside down so the coffee just went into the bag and then pour them onto what ever pan etc , just a thought. Use oven gloves to do it though 👍
Drilled and slotted are not good for street use/ daily driver . The rotors have a higher chance of warping than solid ones . The more holes and slots will also eat up pads way faster. If you want long lasting and dependable buy uncoated/ unpainted rotors and have them cryogenically tempered ( around $20 per rotor) at a shop that specializes with using cryogenic treatments . Then after you can tape up and paint them yourself. Also , Akebono ceramic pads are amazing quality and reasonably priced
I just installed powerstop drilled/slotted fromt rotors on my tucson but i used bosch quiet cast ceramic pads with them. Ive never had an issue with the bosch pads so i stuck with them
I have a Hafx and Cosmos II but because the size I was thinking to get a new case, but I still feel loce and atarchment to those old huge cases, so furtunately I have a Dremel too, so I will mod a little the Noctua to make them fit
Had Bendix Priority 1 ceramic (mid/upper grade regular ceramic, blue shims) upgraded to Powerstop Z36 when bendix finally wore out. There was no difference! Stopping power was the same, same feel and performance with regular bendix as powerstop z36
And for the record. No these will not cause fire hazard and irs there’s nothing dangerous about it. Unless if the led bulb that doesn’t have an IP rated and gets protection, than it’s an unsafe to use. U don’t see those smokin up like other unbranded cheap led bulbs do. So u will be fine. They will not be a hazard and never will, and never will cause a fire. This is a very low failure rate on this. And that’s a very good thing.
I know this was few years ago. But there’s no such thing as too bright. For turn signals. That’s exactly what we prefer to be seeing better, and alert others now what we are turning. Increase safety and ultra bright amber led bulbs. However they have new version called T3. They reduce the luminosity by 400 lumens. So its ultra soft bright led lights. Not as bright as those T2, but still brighter than stock. And they fix the hyperflash and update the decoding time for no more hyperflash, in the next 30 minutes. It’s a bit more expensive but definitely worth the money. And it’s now known for thermal capability because of the heat filtration, 6063 aluminum and ceramic on top, 8 large air ventilation, and ceramic micro chip as well. Check it out.
Thanks for clearing up the questions regarding when the filtration lever can be switched. Yes, it is designed to be switched when oil is still hot. You can always wait if you don't trust it. Do you refrigerate your used oil after cooking meat or fish?
Partsgeek review. I had a problem with the company but it was very easy to get in touch with them and by phone and chat but the problem I was sent Way too many of the product now I have to mail the extra parts back. I have the R number but am lost ar what else to do
Thx for sharing. I do have a couple of questions though. First, at their website, the XB35 HID ballast kit shows a much shorter igniter cable, guessing around 7 inches, and yours are much longer. IS that long igniter cable sold somewhere else? I'm planning on just replacing my OEM HID ballast/igniter, can I just connect my factory connector/splice into the Morimoto input connector? Thx.
One thing that is really snnoying me is. I monitor the time snd how long i sleep but for example if i notice ive slept for 6hours, my machine is saying 3hrs56mins...do you know why this is?
