A lot of bands went on to name this guy as an inspiration to them. Prince called Numan a genius. Trent Reznor said he listened to Telekon every day when recording his first album just to name a couple. The first concert I went to was September 1980 Southampton Gaumont. Where the hell did all that time go!
Apparently so. The entire family were actors. Roy, the father, was last in Game of Throne, and two other daughters, Karen and Michelle are best known for Mary Poppins and Some Mothers Do "Ave 'Em, respective. The daughter here, Yvette, didn't have many roles after this one.
So ironic that we lost David Bowie to the same thing in 2016. Perhaps something in common they both consumed????? Either way, we lost two wonderful musicians that enriched our world!
Mick was not only a great guitarist but also producer and arranger, he was responsible for the early Bowie sound and never fully recognised especially financially. Listen to his album Play Don't Worry ,you can see where Bowie has even mimicked Mick's voice. They were fantastic together but sadly Mick was jettisoned once Bowie's ego took over. RIP Mick .
2 things that people remember from Calgary 88. Jamaican bobsleigh team, and Eddie the Eagle. Not many remember one person that won golds in them games.
Thank you for this most wonderful Video. It is basically the entire round, at all the exciting moments--especially the last few holes of Regulation and the playoff. TU!
Interesting. Cink playing with Harrington. In 2007, I played Carnoustie in April and the pro told me Tom Watson wasn't playing that year as his daughter's wedding was Open week. They met two years later at Turnberry, probably the last time the R&A will hold the Open there since Trump now owns the course.
