This is definitely one of the cheapest boss battle designs I ever seen. If you focus on actually dealing damage to the Boss or don't kill the mobs fast enough it becomes nigh impossible to survive.
Yes, and the stamina break making you unable to move is a really stupid idea. Make her not be able to attack, not also just become a zombie and not be able to move. Terrible idea. The respawns are also terrible yes.

This is the most annoying enemy in game. You will encounter him many times throughout the game and is HARD.. like maybe 10 super shotgun hits. Not many things work against him. Also his dog makes things even harder and also when he is coming along with other enemies.. zzzzz. Playing on Ultra Violence too. Sometimes I might take 10-20 attempts to clean an eara with 1 of them among the rest of the enemies.
Problem I had was once I drink with the cultists and they kill one of the shop owners, I can no longer find the resurrect spell. All I'm left with is life drain which doesn't work for this quest. Guess it's only if you're not on the evil path already.
Not sure of what allows/dis-allows it, but they worked fine for me. Didn't think you had to activate anything for them, just needed the icon in your HUD.
Late but after talking to the wife in Arkos, go to Katski and see Alan in the apothecary. He should tell you how to resurrect Paimon into its monstrous form.
