Don’t read/listen to the haters, keep doing you and rebound from the session. $11K is a huge loss for sure, some days just go that way. 2nd place is very expensive, and it’s even more frustrating to have a hand against so many coolers. I typically limit myself to 3 bullets, because when it’s going bad it’s going bad, and best to pack up and go home. Hopefully you can get it all back up n the next 3-4 sessions.
Also at the same casino where I play if you reach for chips, even if it’s behind the felt the forward motion of grabbing the chips and moving them forward is considered a bet or a call. I think they just got a lot of complaints about people Doing this and causing issues
I think this could be considered an angle in certain casinos. I play at one in particular, where if your cards touch the felt it’s an automatic muck. If you have big chips unexposed then you’ll be penalized by the dealer and after multiple warnings, you will be suspended for I think about 10 hands, is it scummy I don’t know. Could it be an angle possibly but it’s something that the house should regulate if anything.
I mean... I'm 2 minutes into the video and you already told me "Fuck you" twice. Kinda rooting for the euro to kick your ass at this point. Edit: The only scummy part of what he did was hiding his bigger chips. Those should always be visible at the table. The rest of what you took issue with is something I see every day, it's pretty normal. It seems like you are overreacting for no real reason. You did play it correctly. When players cut out chips then check they are almost always weak and aren't going to call any big boy bets.
Nice story for us to vicariously watch and hurt along because we've all had sessions like this. But how does this compare to your best cash session ever? Did you ever makeup 6 bullets in a day?
Hey, I'm from the area. I play at all the local casinos "parx, rivers, live" but I feel like live has the best poker room and best competition around, what's your take on that?
Or you could just stay quiet and let him do all those weak little moves, and you can continue to take advantage of it. In all honesty, you're reaching really hard on this one. If a new player falls for that crap then that's their fault. It's all part of the poker learning curve.
Sucks regarding $200 tournament where Kings sucked out. But since youre a cash game player, doesnt that happen more often than tournaments since cash game plays deeper stacks? Ive seen terrible cash game players do that also. I flop top two and reraise in position with big bet sizing and yet, still get called by middle pocket pair and dude spikes his set on the turn. I played 1/2 and dude put up more than half of his stack through preflop and flop to spike it on the turn. So I doubt it has to do with tournaments. Low buy-ins in general attract terrible players whether its cash or tournaments.
Honestly, you're an average poker player, an above average vlogger, and being asked not to record at the table ≠ getting kicked out. I'm among probably a billion youtube consumers who are sick of sensational video titles. Just tell us what it's about. I'd have gone with something like "On Tilt at Worst Casino." Loved your honesty about that! Keep grinding on here and on the felt! ♣️♦️♥️♠️
i am an older man playing poker part time for 30 years, i mainly play tournaments and sometimes low cash games. I do well at tournaments, so i retired to las vegas now. I will do senior tournaments and of course many events at the WSOP, i cannot grind anymore each week. I pick a few tournaments a week to play, and enjoy life. I have a nice bankroll, and in tourneys u only need to finish in top 10 to 15 percent to double your money. I cash a lot, still waiting for my big payoff,,,,,hahaha,,,,
What a bad play… k/7 3 barrels off.. wtf, why? That was unnecessary. Obviously a bad read. Any pair is calling flop and probably the turn as well. And the double paired board is definitely better for the caller’s range. Nice job Ace. Get that money! Nice to see my boy raking it in.
You have a pair of 5's. You say I am behind A 10 or A J. You are behind a 6. You beat 3 hands 2/3 2/4 3/4 that's it 3 hands! You can beat nothing else!
