Damn dude you made this look way too easy. Checked it out yesterday and can’t believe how steep and gnarly it is at the top! Had to walk a few sections but I’ll clean the whole thing eventually 🤘🏼
Every now and again I like to watch this to remind myself of goals for progression. Just rode Evil down through the skidder off T&G, then took Ski School instead of Lower Empire. These trails are serious and your riding makes them look like a casual blue romp. Someday I'll hit those jumps on Lower Empire.
I know they closed this a few years ago, that single track looks pretty clean for no love for a few years- is it being maintained again? Would love to ride this. Also nice riding
A few people clean it up from time to time and it does occasionally gets ridden which keeps it running. I haven't been up there this year yet, I image it needs some work after the long winter.
This was filmed two summers ago. Not sure if it's still standing after this winter, everything is still buried. I imagine all wooden features probably collapsed.
Are you referring to the jump at 35 seconds? I wasn't braking at all. I remember speed being pretty fast, and it's definitely a poppy lip. The nice thing about that most of the jumps on this trail is that you can come up a little short. Maybe go a little slower and pull off the lip your first go. That typically helps me not get bucked.
Damn, Canyon’s really needs more love. I can see that being a super sick trail to ride if it was cleaned up more. It’s too bad the owners don’t want to put money into the mountain biking season.
Thanks for the advice. Having personally spent a lot of time digging/building on this trail, I would never disclose the location. If I felt the beginning were a dead giveaway, I never would have posted it. If you can find it based on that quick clip, good on ya!
