I was in 4 wheel. The trail is a lot steeper than it looks. Video never catches the grade of a hill very well. The 700 was a good machine. I put over 5000 miles on it. I put the 27" ITP mudlight2 tires on it which gave it much needed ground clearance. Thanks for watching.

The bank was ice so I had so knock down the center so when I hit it with a little momentum I wouldn't just plant my front end into an ice wall.

Ya the machine puts a lot of traction down. It's only hindered by ground clearance.

@@thand1427 I was waiting on a forest addition 700 that never showed up and found a 2022 1000 in Ohio that I bought. Only a couple miles on it so far but I can tell they are well planted to the ground

@@thand1427 that’s great to Hear. I’ve noticed that when I shift through the different drive modes, like say from 2 wheel lock to 4 wheel that it takes a while for the indicator to show up on my display. The machine seems to slip right into whatever drive mode I’m in but just won’t show on the dash for a minute or so

I think the machine just has to move a bit to let the gears fully engage. Also it will engage better when it breaks in some.

I liked my pioneer 700 but I started riding a lot with friends who have rzrs. and our trails are dirt roads so I was wound out all the time because you hit rev limiter at 43 mph. also the suspension is not very good for faster riding. Now for slow cruising and work and hunting it was great. I hauled a lot of fire wood out of the woods with it. I never ran out of power with it but it really should have a low range. The 1000 is nice as it will haul 3 people instead of only 2 on the 700. The 1000 has better suspension and is quieter when cruising and has more ground clearance. I know you don't want to go fast but the 1000 will go about 65 mph which makes cruising at 35-40 mph much more comfortable. I never road a viking but I have traded my honda for a yamaha rmax 1000 which still has a dump bed but is a lot more sporty with better suspension 30" tires and works better for me because i can still work with it and keep up with my friends on their sport sxs. I hope this answers your questions . 1 more thing is you can buy any of them and try them out and the resale value is very good so you can trade in for a different one later if you want to try a different one out.
