Most Nigerians are so blindfolded with politics, make all the noise they can and not face the reality of issues facing the nation. The development of a nation of any serious nation does not depend on politics but a creative approach by the citizens. The President has said over and over again that he apologizes for the hardship caused by the fuel subsidy removal, and he would do everything he can to cushion the situation. He unveiled just one aspect of what he has in mind and Nigerians cry foul. As the Senator has pointed out, The President will have no control over the setting of prices for imported petroleum product into the country by independent marketers who are in business to make profit. Even if all the refineries in Nigeria including the newly built Dangote refinery, the marketer will still set their own prices and so also are the refineries. Nigerians just have to be patient with the system. Families that have more than two cars should consider using only two or encourage ride sharing if going to work. These are temporary measure families can take to ease the burden. When you drive to the gas station, the seller does not ask what political party you belong to, therefore, put politics aside when looking a the nation's problems. When you criticize the government make your criticism is constructive and not political. The national Assembly is there to listen and debate issue of concern to the masse before they get to the Government. Social media and street venting get nowhere.
