I had the original figures as a Christmas present one year. I loved these as a kid. My figures also went to battle with He Man. There is also a Power Lords base. It’s a hollowed out volcano called “Volcan Rock”. I still have my one too.
I have a carded Luke in red armor I have no idea what he is supposed to be. And I've read the comics and books. I guess Xizor guard or something. I do know the Swoops and The Outrider ended up in the 1997 Special Edition.
LOVED Dr. Badvibes! "Oh, oh your dome is so big...." "LORD HELMET!" "WHAT?!" "You're needed on the bridge." "KNOCK NEXT TIME! Did you see anything?" "No, sir. I didn't see you playing with your dolls again!"
I'd agree with your list on the ones I had. I did not have Skids, Tracks, Trailblazer, or Jazz so I might sub out Kup, Fort Max, Prowl, and Jetfire/Skyfire on my list. But the other ones you had are among my favorites too.
No mention of the Brick that was Power Master Optimus Prime? The size of Blaster was because the original blue Japanese version held batteries, had working speakers and had a "tape" (didn't transform) that could receive radio and sent it to the speakers.
I never had the Jumpstarters, but I always liked how they looked in robot mode!!! So when they came out in the Titans Return line, I was blown away by how awesome they looked so I definitely ordered both of them because they looked more G1 accurate than the actual G1 versions!!!! And as a bonus I was able to order there G1 weapons from TF Safari because the weapons they came with were just hollow pieces of plastic!!! Great listing, brother!!!
Tunney was the on screen President, but he was also responsible in helping run the WWF Canada office. He got his job with the company after Vince had bought his territory out.
I assume you mean other than the original brothers? I owned a lot of TMNT toys as a kid [I am almost 40]. As an adult, I only like to display the 4 brothers, April, Splinter, Usagi Yojimbo, Casey Jones, Beebop and Rocksteady. That's my 10.
OK I am really, really getting sick & tired of the fandom. Guys keep in mind & you have to remember I hate terms like parts formers & such like that Keep in Mind. Ultra magnus. Ratchet & Ironhide. Hasbro, I repeat Hasbro did not design them They were not mean to be being on their own as well Like Starscream, Thunder cracker Originated in Diaclone & Omega supreme came from Another company. They really were not meant to be transformers or beings on their own I loved the original ratchet Toy. Road buster He came from Bandai along with whirl ,Jetfire, The deluxe insecticons. Again Hasbro did not Design ratchet & ironhide molds. they were meant for robotic suits. For humans to pilot That is why also on ultra magnus he had that chest part. that had a set in it. I am a true transformer Die hard fan. I never grew out. Did any of you guys buy toys & such during Jr high & HI gh school???? Nooo But I did I bought toys all my life. Means more to me then most humans do. To me there are a lot of adult crybabies in the fandom now these days. Why I focus a lot on toys. I have 3 rooms in the house full of toys. in My collection. 45 years old & 42 years of collecting non stop.
I understand your history of the toys and know they were just pushed through as something they were not meant to be designed for. However, they cam in a box with Transformers on it so....there does have to be some accountability on why the toys suck if they were called Transformers. If they came from cops n crooks no one would know who the red machine with no head is. I've been collecting, the same as you, nearly my whole life. Your comment comes off as you are pissed at fans who have an opinion.
Sorry no one gave a damn about Skids. I find it weird that some fans try to make him relevant. Ugly vehicle mode 5 seconds of screen time and just an uninteresting character. The Beyverse really did him in.
Vanessa's vehicle was the best growing up I had a couple of neighborhood kids that actually had this there's was damaged but they still gave it to me I don't have Vanessa and I don't have the ejectors heat Tonight I looked up stuff to actually find what the parts I was missing I originally wanted to have this as a Knight Rider trans Am and it's worked out perfectly I just wish I had the missing components was some sticker damage and looking over other copies of this vehicle the front wheels where you had the cutting blades we're not on them I'm glad mine version has that
To be fair, Ironhide and Rachel were never meant to be full on robots, but piloted mechs suits with a little driver inside from the Diaclone days. However, because of the design in the cartoon, the toys were very disappointing because they did not resemble what you saw on tv at all. I was so confused by this when I was a kid until I found out where these toys originated
