I expect the aroma that day from Hearts fans was very similar to the farting scene in Blazing Saddles ? Can i have some more beans Mr Taggart ? Pooohh ..i think youve had enough ...parrrppp ... ppaarrrpppp !
Back for my annual viewing. My earliest memory of being a Celtic fan. I think the great Albert Kidd emigrated to Australia and came back to Scotland a few years back and Sandy Clarke was still raging and told him to f*ck off 😂.
I was a ballboy at this game,I'm kicking the ball out of the net after the first goal, had to get moved after getting pelted with coins for reminding the utd fans how shite their team were, are 😂😂😂⚽️🥅
Cheers Dundee. That went a lang way to tipping the balance in our favour for the title. 4 days after this game Aberdeen had to go to Parkhead for the second time in 18 days and we duly won 3-1. Ten days later we clinched the title. Happy days.
Remember that game well loads of effort from the Dees.did remember celtic supporters were unhappy with there board at that time and us shouting keep the board.happy days.COTD
Albert kidd, albert kidd subby at dens park Albert kid albert kidd strode onto the park Played a wee one two, then he ran right thru Broke jam tarts hearts, jam tart hearts.
The best thing about this deliriously happy & historic day was that the outcome was NOT a shock !. The only ones who thought heartx were going to emerge triumphant was those muppets themselves !. Pedro Kane, Jimmy Burns, Stoogs D etc - boy, did we have ourselves a day that day - I just hope that someday someone u/loads the video of our game v Dundee Utd at Easter Road as the scenes at Sir Albert's 1st goal were incredible !. They best us 1-2 that day yet you'd have thought WE'D win the league !
It maybe simply that Rangers wanted to wear the away kit at home as has occasionally happened over the years or the referee felt both kits clashed and maybe Dundee only brought home kits to Ibrox and it was Rangers who had to make the change? In the Scottish Cup Final 1964 Rangers wore that same kit against Dundee who wore an all white away kit. Rangers won 3-1. I think it's a beautiful kit and would like to see the team wear it once again...royal blue and white stripes with royal blue shorts and red socks.
I was there that day. You wouldn't guess from this footage, but it was all Celtic. Aitkin missed a pen, and ally ( I'll no use his nickname) had a string of great saves an a fair slice of luck. Probably the most bizarre game I ever saw. I mean sinky looked world class! An that dive by popular Peter lol
