WorkCover don't believe in mental health injuries, just ask the 100's of emergency workers whose claims have been denied by WorkCover!

I'm happy for Anthony but my story is different. I claimed PTSD through WorkCover after working in the Police and after almost a year of battling with them, my case was denied. WorkCover are there to make money and not looking after those that require help. There are many other emergency service workers who have been shafted by WorkCover, some who have not survived the ordeal.

Thank you for this post. I was work placed bullied and mobbed by my previous employer gold Coast city council. They abused me and physically threatened me then lied and turned the abusive and threatening behaviour onto me and stood me down from my position. They also used a psychologist in a supervisor training course I did to bully, intimate, belittle and humiate me on this training. I recorded every word that was said in this training. I was a union delegate for 2 years and had a number of people come to me for union support because they were being bullied. I stood up to council for myself and others before me when I got bullied. I have now been diagnosed with paranoia schizophrenia because of how intense the bullying was. They have a workplace bullying culture. And it comes from the top and hr try to cover it up. My life has been effected for life. I have lost my job, career and my partner of 12 years because I couldn't let it go. This happened between 2008 and 2010. I also was crucified by council for being openly gay. I complained about past harassment and discrimination and they bullied me into insanity for complaining.
