In some areas, it is illegal to hunt bobcats because they are considered sacred. They are the totemic objects of various Elementary and Junior High School tribes.
I 100% agree with all this. My Mexican red knee definitely has a mind of her own and is beyond docile. she has moments where she wants to be held(crawls in my hand on her own) and other moments where she wants to be left alone just like any other creature. GIVE them what the would have in nature and don't coup them up in tiny clear boxes but also don't put them in a 50 gal aquarium. My Mexican red knee is happy in a long 5/6 gallon tank.
Do your own research. This video has a lot of wrong information and is really misleading. Almost every animal she talked about had incorrect information. There are a lot of better videos out there than this one! 👎
I can tell by the sound of the narrators voice..they were going to mention “climate change”…yes, the climate changes from day to day..and drastically every season u nitwit
Had one as pet due to him getting injured and stuck on our property. Miss him 🥲....he left us for female raccoon...I would of too. Probably searched all night for food and struck out & daylight and still no food 🥲
Well they sure are, I know a case of a teenage traveller who got bit by 5-7 of them. he didn't provoke them, they just ran towards him and bit his legs. He managed to run away while he had his legs incredibly mutilated and bleeding. He later lost his ability to walk and is now today living as a prosthetic
They can def injure. But they cant kill humans if the human is big. People underestimate how powerful human can. Under adrenaline rush your body can produce enormous strength and kill a bobcat. But its would be good to jsut avoid them to avoid injuries. Their claws are sharp and can cause bad cuts.
I actually really like nutria there is a pond near the library in my neighborhood and years ago there used to be many nutria living in that pond They would be up and active during the day all day And there was also a high school up the road and students would come from the high school during break time and would kick them and hurt them. I used to go down there every day and feed them a bunch of bread They would climb around me climb on me and we're very friendly. One day I was there feeding them with my friend and a boy from the high school comes up with his friends and he kicks it and sends it flying into the pond and it didn't come back up It was a baby one So I came up told him he was being an asshole and grabbed his backpack which had his phone and iPod And this is before those types of electronics were water resistant so all of his homework and electronics and lunch money was destroyed from being thrown in the pond I remember watching him go in the pond to get his stuff and he comes out soaking wet and it's freezing cold and raining😅😅😅 But unfortunately all the nutria are gone now they took them and put them all to sleep since they are an invasive species as covered here.
Racoons around my house make a cooing noise that sounds a bit like an owl. They get into everything. I strapped down the lid to my large dumper lidded trash can for several weeks then stopped strapping it down thinking they would have given up on getting into it but the first nite I didn't strap it down they got into it.
This has the potential to be such a great educational video for kids, but unfortunately the constant stream of bizarre grammatical errors makes it a "no-go" for our homeschool unit study!
Yes, of course... <brainwashed American Internet sheeple mantra> All wildlife is DEADLY! NEVER leave your car! NEVER leave your home! NEVER leave your comfy computer chair, of course always with fastened seatbelt and safety helmet on! Anything outside WILL KILL YOU! This was brought to you by Global Security Insurance, Inc. - STAY TUNED! </brainwashed American Internet sheeple mantra> This is so ridiculous... here in Germany, nobody is afraid of Eurasian lynxes, which were re-introduced since the 1970s... and they are considerable larger and stronger than bobcats, capable of taking down adult reindeer! If I ever encountered a Eurasian lynx, I simply would squat down to be less threatening to the wild cat, watch it from afar and enjoy this rare encounter... sometimes they approach humans who make eye contact - but as the lynx is a surprise hunter, never out of hunting drive, but out of curiosity, they don't attack anything that makes eye contact! And no, there never have been any recorded attacks by European lynxes on humans... you have to deliberately provoke them to get attacked! But even a lynx who feels cornered will first warn you by hissing and growling (which sounds quite fearsome!), they do not attack out of the blue...
