Full Tower TV is where you can gain knowledge and information about building a PC for you.
Whether you have some experience or you are completely new to PC building - I will guide you through every step of the way.
My name is Rafael, I'm 34 years old and I have over a decade of experience in building computers, I work as a professional PC builder and I have built dozens of computers for clients, friends, and family members.
I'm looking to share my knowledge with anyone who is seeking it and you can find guides, tips & tricks, as well as general information on this channel for building your next PC - Better!
Yes true. This is happened to me as well. This case has an internal RGB controller. I recommend not to plug the ARGB pin into the motherboard and control the RGB with the button on the front panel.
@@FullTowerTV bro I want to change the fans and use a hub. But I think There is not enough space in the back to install the hub. Or if I use the hub at bottom the fans wire won't reach at the bottom to the hub. What should I do now? And another thing I want to use argb psu 24 pin extension cable but I'm afraid the cable management won't be possible. What do you think should I use an extension?
I searched various time about how to separate antec ax 61 elite front mesh but didn't find, finally Microsoft Co-pilot suggested me this video. This is really underrated Thanks for the helpful tutorial.
Thank you so much! Making my first pc build with this case! Your video is wonderfull for a begginer and all my questions are awensered! Feeling confident!
Thank you for the beautiful comment! It took a lot of effort to make that one in a way that would make sense to most people, so I'm happy you found it helpful! :)
Hi Rafael, I have aquestion for you. I recently bought an Antec X61 Elite, I agree, it is not the best case I've ever had but its mine now. Thesre are a couple of wires that I have no idea where they go and maybe you could share a light on this. I 'm not very techie so I have to stumble by as best as possible. The first is a a small three holed connector, actually its a 2 hole, a space and anothe hole connector that seems like a fan cnnector (maybe an RGB)? I'm not sure where this goes, there is a 2 plus 1 pin connector on my motherboard but the pins don't seem to fit. I have a ASUS X99-M-WS and the area that I'm talking about is in the lower left hand corner of the motherboard, right above where the HD Audio connector is. The second is a 4 pin connector that seems to be daisy-chained to other connectors including one that looks like a SATA flat connector, I don't know if it could be a connector that goes to an SSD or a hardrive. I wish I could attach a few pictures but I'm not that verse on attiching pictures to postings yet. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Hey 👋 First of all, thank you for leaving a comment on my video - You are very much welcome here! As for the connectors - the ax61 Elite could be a bit tricky. The first cable you talked about - is an RGB connector or to be more precise- an ARGB connector. It looks something like this: imgur.com/a/AhIGAuN This cable is being used to control the lights of the fans through the motherboard. Unfortunately, the x99 motherboard doesn't have this connector because ARGB was invented later if I remember correctly but, either way - I wouldn't recommend you to plug that connector even if you had an ARGB connector on your motherboard. In my testing, I noticed very weird behavior when plugging it into the motherboard. With that said, the case has another option to control the lights (which is the preferred way in my opinion) and that is through what is supposed to be the reset button (See picture: imgur.com/a/lZfWxIv ) It means that instead of a reset button, each time you press it, it will change lights and you can choose your desired color. Now, for that to work: You need to plug that second SATA cable you talked about, into a SATA connector on your POWER SUPPLY. I know it looks like a connector you plug into a hard drive but if you take a look closely 👀 you will notice that it is a male connector and not a female. Exactly like in your hard drive. This means you plug a female connector into it from the power supply as you would for a hard drive. That plug will supply power to the INTERNAL ARGB HUB inside the case and will allow you to change colors using the reset button. I hope that is understandable, but if you still find it hard to get it to work - please contact me on a private message on any of my socials: @fulltowertv on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/TikTok/you name it, and we can keep discussing it there. 😊

@C0DM4YH3M ikr? I wish they stopped doing that. 😕 But I get it, it's cheaper and in the end, the customer pays less so that's a good thing I guess? 🤷♂️
I am allways confuced about the motherboard cpu connection i have a 6 pin and 4 pin connection on my board but never connect the 4 pin what is it for my pc boots and runs fine as it should but was wondering do i need to allso connect the 4 pin to my board?
That's a great question! Some motherboards have more than one CPU connection and some have only one. The short answer is that you only need one to run your PC. The second or additional pins that you might have are for pushing more power to your CPU in case you want to OVERCLOCK ⏰️ it. Overclocking = means pushing more power to your CPU to make it go faster. You do it by raising the voltage ⚡️ and to do that you need more power. That's why some motherboards have more CPU connections than others. I hope that answers your question and thank you for the great question!
@KadeFresco Yes, I checked your motherboard specifications and it doesn't have one. I think I used to have the same motherboard or something similar from Asus. If I remember correctly, ARGB was invented a bit after z270 chipsets so that's why it doesn't have one even though it's a pretty high-end board. Anyway, glad I could help - let me know if you need anything else 😊🙏
@@FullTowerTV this my second pc I’m building and so this a new problem it took me about 2 hours to find this answer bro 😭 better than taking 2 days though like the first time around. You’re appreciated highly. I’ll just upgrade the motherboard and solve all of this.
@ZGameWar hey 👋 Sorry if the title was a bit confusing. I literally spent hours thinking of a title that would represent this video for what it is, but this is the best I could think of. (Also for the RU-vid algorithm but shhh don't tell anyone 🤭). If you have any ideas/suggestions please let me know. I can change it if needed. Thanks for checking the video anyway 🙏 , hope it helped.
@ZGameWar Right now I am just starting and I still have no access to parts, unfortunately. But in the future, I want to make more build guides and that is the plan. Thank you so much for the feedback 😊 🙏
I just stumbled upon this video and honestly, because of the quality of your video, I assumed you were a channel with a lot more subs. Kudos to you, and keep on uploading quality content :)
@ZeroParanoia Thank you so much! You have no idea how much it means to me. I was watching the video looking for stuff that I could improve... and then I saw your comment and it made me smile. I realize I am doing something good after all 😅. Thank you so much again, it means a lot to me. 🙏❤️
@Cyber.Operator.0 I believe you are talking about these: www.arctic.de/en/products/highlights/white-products/ And yes, true. You are completely right ✅️. They are great fans for the price. One of my favorites 😍.
@nintendotyrelle Excellent Question! It depends on what is important to you. The main parameters to look at are price, performance, compatibility, design & looks, and durability. If you are looking for the best budget fans I would take a look at the Thermalright c12 lineup. They look great in my opinion and decent in performance. You can get a 3 pack for like $15 on Amazon, which is a steal. If you are looking for the best airflow fans, I think Noctua is still one of the best on the market. They are a bit pricey and don't offer any RGB or anything like that (which of course increases your FPS in games 😉) but I think there is nothing that can beat them in terms of durability & performance. I use them personally and I am very happy. If you are looking for good-looking ones, check out the Lian-Li Uni fans. Again, a bit pricey but they are the "hot deal" 🔥 right now. People like them, they look awesome and feature wireless connections(connect one into another using magnets 🧲 which is cool and saves a ton of space and cable management headaches). Other than that: Corsair fans have great quality but the problem with them is they have proprietary connectors and you need a Corsair fan hub to connect them. A bit pricey but the quality is really good. And for budget: also Arctic fans are nice. Not crazy at performance but pretty durable & affordable. Going with any of the ones I mentioned would make you happy anyway. 😊
@Shadowofplayereditz hey 👋 First, I appreciate you for leaving a comment, I wish I had access to the parts so I could build them. That's the plan for future videos. Right now I am doing the best I can and I hope you will stick around, you are always welcome here. 😊 🙏
@@bombashek Of course, I got you. @@bombashek Also, there is a bug with the price, when you click the link it says £1149, but when you add it to the basket it should say: £1229. (that's because I changed the specs to R5 7600X & 32 GB RAM)
The i5 2400 and the i7 2600 were released together at the same time (January 9th, 2011), which means that every motherboard that was released back then and works with the i5 2400 will also work with the i7 2600. No need to update the bios.
@ErenYeager-uy8ej Ahhh I see what you mean. I looked at the Gigabyte b650m ds3h and it looks like a great motherboard. It has all the features I like such as a bios flashback button, support for front type c connector, and RGB/ARGB connectors. As for the card- The 6700xt is a great card for 1080p and even 1440p. The question is - what kind of games do you play and what monitor do you use?
@@FullTowerTV mostly triple aaa . story driven.i am gonna good 140/165 hz. 1440p.1ms monitor. Like .LG 32GP750-B 32 Inch .and sumsung Odyssey g5 32inch ips. Can suggest me good 750wt psu in budget. And thanks for your replys 🙂
@ErenYeager-uy8ej First, thank you for being here 🙏 The MSI MAG A750BN is available pretty much everywhere right now: pcpartpicker.com/product/bpvD4D/msi-mag-a750bn-pcie5-750-w-80-bronze-certified-atx-power-supply-mag-a750bn-pcie5 In my eyes, it's one of the best budget power supplies you can buy. It's modern and has all the protections and features of a modern power supply that you will need.
Oh, It was a fun one for me! I had to convert currency that I didn't know and search in stores websites I'd never seen before. Was a fun video to make 😊 Thank you for the comment!
Great video mate, been building rigs for over 25+ years, good parts list as well. And a great recommendation for Ancient GamePlays as well he is my source for all AMD graphics card as well.
@FullTowerTV had to wrangle one and stopped right before cutting off a capacitor with it, then pulled on it with pliers and right out the other end, if that helps
@@mariocamspam72 That's a good idea! For me, I am so traumatized by those PCIE covers that these days I make sure every time I build a system, that the case doesn't have these covers, if it does - I make a test fit with the motherboard & GPU to make sure which ones I need to cut, and I cut them ahead of time before installing the motherboard.
I built in it already. It looks and feels extremely cheap. Bo PSU Cover, no Cable management space in the back, only acrylic side panel (scratches if you breath wrong in it). Montech Air 100 or Silentware Air 10 and Aerocool Trinity Mini are wqy better and actually high quality options
Hey, Bro I've been planning my first PC build and would love your thoughts on my component list: Processor - AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU Air Cooler - DEEPCOOL AK400 WHITE Motherboard - MSI B650M GAMING WIFI AM5 mATX RAM - G Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 16GB DDR5 5600MHZ SSD - Samsung 990 Pro 1TB Graphics Card - MSI GeForce RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X White 8GB OC DDR6 Power Supply - DeepCool PK650D 650W 80+ Bronze Casing - Antec NX292 White Mid Tower RGB Do you think this setup strikes a good balance for gaming & video editing ? Any suggestions or changes you'd recommend? Thanks in advance for your input!
@user-oi7mt8tm8e Hey, first of all, thank you for taking your time and leaving a comment! I appreciate you trusting me to give you advice on your first build, I'm excited for you!😊 For the build itself - it's mostly good👍, the one thing I might consider is taking a slightly less powerful SSD and investing in a better GPU. Samsung 990 pro is a good SSD but you don't need something like that because you won't feel the performance boost the same as a better GPU. I, myself, do video editing on a very cheap SSD and it gets the job done ✔️. Try getting a 4060ti or rx 7700xt if you can, especially if you are planning to use anything above a full HD monitor (like 2k for example). Other than that - make sure the 16 GB RAM is in 2 sticks - meaning 2x8 and not 1 stick. It will give you better performance with dual-channel memory. I also would recommend 32GB as modern games and video editing software like to use a lot of RAM. Hope that helps, let me know what you think and if you need any further input😊👍.
@@ShazzadHossen-g6j Thank you so much for the kind words! let me know if you need help building the computer or anything else. I am available on all my socials: Facebook/Instagram/Twitter, etc. Just look for @fulltowertv and I will be there. Good luck with the build!
Hey, most modern cases today don't have a reset button. Instead, you have a button for RGB. You can always reset your PC by holding the Power button for 5 seconds and then press again to turn it on.
