What is mud khoo used for in Muay Boran? I can see a double forearm block to the side but am not sure about the application of the double punch to the front.

Elbows no problem but my footplacement & pivoting is off without step & foot adjustment. Are feet square or one foot forward? And is this stationary without moving the feet?
They are the chosen noble elites from the “Nuay-Talungfun” (the frontline breaker units) so they use same style of Muay which is “Muay Lung” basically it is the royal style of Muay Boran, Fun facts Each noble elephants will have 4 Jaturungkabart for each legs Jaturungkabart is also noble warrior status so each of them will have ton of bodyguards equipped with shields and spear around them. And yes Jaturungkabart is the leader of Nuay-Talungfun, so after the elephant charge-in expecting lines of dual swords storm followed up. Jaturungkabart is the only unit that can carry sharp weapons infront of the king, so they work as king bodyguards in peace time.

I'm adding Muay Thai to my Toolbox. This is so refreshing; you are such a good and patient instructor. Thank you so very much. i love the cultural foundation in martial Arts. It's sad in the West that much is relegated to thinking that it's all about fighting, self-defense/offense etc. Many in the West don't realize how much Martial Arts is tied to one's history and people. This is one main aspect to keeping one grounded and humble.
