Eh, Welcome To Heaven was actually pretty good, considering what it's representing. This is honestly what it sounds like Christian church-goes describe Heaven being like, and it sounds like it was sang by a a kick-ass choir. I'd personally give this a 5 or 6/10. I also want to throw out the idea that the checklist is technically - TECHNICALLY - correct, because that list usually applies to people while they're alive. This means that it wasn't a guaranteed entry for Angel, who was already in Hell. I also haven't actually watched the show yet lmao sorry
13:35 "I'll keep you safe", she looks at Zestial and he seems surprised I feel like this is a moment nobody ever talks about, which surprised me since this community over-analyzes absolutely everything Also, Poison is probably the hardest song ever to explain to anyone in my language. All of the nuances are lost in German, it's such a fucking frustrating, cringy and lacking language to talk about sexual stuff in
My leaderboard 10th: 25:57 Welcome to Heaven 9th: 9:04 It Starts with Sorry 8th: 30:10 Out for Love 7th: 3:33 Hell is Forever 6th: 6:17 Stayed Gone 5th: 12:13 Whatever it Takes 4th: 17:30 Loser, Baby 3rd: 0:36 Happy Day in Hell 2rd: 10:36 Respectless 1st: 15:21 Poison
...you completely missed the point of You Didn't Know despite it being the title of the song. Most of Heaven doesn't _know_ about the extermination. Also, rated Poison way too high. Yeah, it explains Angel but it's easily one of my most hated genres.
RU-vid Mobile won't let me edit, so... Vaggie is not fighting to defend Charlie's dreams when she goes to Carmilla. She is focused on getting revenge on Adam and Lute after the previous episode.
I don't know if anyone has praised this enough for pure vocals. I don't how it gets cut up in production. But the vocals are 🤌 *chefs kiss*. Nothing about the musical element seems overdone. The accompaniment is in the background and the singers carry the scene. Love to see it.
just wanna say that we saw alastor and vox in nun and priest outfit, and i think that in second season might be something about religion with vox or someone else as main villian, the one who enslaved alastor (and vox possible) could be main villian of second of the whole series
How i would rank every song #1 Loser Baby #2 Hell's Greatest Dad #3 Respectless (This is my favorite song in the show but I can acknowledge that Loser Baby and Hell's Greatest Dad are better) #4 Poison #5 Finale #6 You Didn't Know #7 Hell Is Forever #8 Stayed Gone #9 Out For Love #10 More Than Anything #11 Ready For This #12 Happy Day In Hell #13 More Than Anything (reprise #14 It Starts. With Sorry #15 Welcome To Heaven #16 Whatever It Takes
For more than anything, it hurts so much because Lucifer KNOWS how heaven is about change, and it’s one of those times where the person saying “you don’t know that” is completely wrong
So I have to slightly disagree with your assessment of "Out for Love", Vaggie is fighting because of love, yes, but her fighting wasn't to protect those she loves but to do as much damage as possible. Carmilla was telling her if she fights to kill instead of to protect those she cares about, it will be pointless and she won't be much help on the field.
I always love Keith David's voice. (I just wanna say he also carried Princess and the Frog as Facilier) His voice is perfect for me to sing along since it matches my range ^^
I'm going to add that it seems by your commentary that you sorely missed the point on "you didn't know". The point is that only ONE angel in heavens higher echelon knew about the exterminations. The rest of heaven has no clue, it's not that they don't care. It's also very clearly pointed out that not even the Angels knows what gets someone into heaven. The Head Seraphim likely did not want it to be possible over the very possible chance that should redemption be possible, she has been sending exterminators down to hell every year to murder trillions of souls who otherwise could have actually been redeemed.
Gotta be honest: Mimzy reduces Gell's greatest dad from a 9 to a 5. It's a literal record scratch tone wise, absolutely insufferable. And her entire character design complements that. She's like an anti-fun character that sucks all the joy out of the room the moment she steps in
Songs I hate: It starts with sorry Cringy songs: Loser Baby Poison Happy Day In Hell Welcome to heaven Hell is Forever Ready for this Hell's greatest dad Finale or Show must go on Stayed Gone Good Songs: Respect less Whatever it takes More than anything You didnt know Out For Love THIS IS MY OPINION SO RESPECT MINE and I will respect yours
i’m so glad that the one episode we got w lucifer (well i know he comes in at the very end of the last one but ykwim) we got not one but two songs w him it makes so much sense too that not only him but charlie too would be so musical since lucifer was believed to be an angel of worship/music before he fell 🖤
