The Umckaloabo Foundation supports educational projects for disadvantaged children and young people in southern Africa. Education and learning open up paths out of poverty and offer perspectives for an independent future.

Since it was first founded in 2010, the Foundation has successfully given financial support to different day-care centers, schools and various projects in the field of informal education and vocational training. To date, the Umckaloabo Foundation has invested a total of over five million euros in education.

We have a long history of working in close cooperation and in mutual good faith with our project partners on site. In particular, our scholarship programs in Malawi and Zambia have allowed us to give many students access to solid schooling and a brighter future.
