Mike, instead of more controllers, ATC should have been automated 40 years ago including runway to runway autopilot. Computer landing with modern GPS is engineering wise trivial. Call Elon and ask who built the starlink system for him. All it takes is a few good men. Don't be yet another technically illiterate administrator that look to layman solutions when massively beneficial obvious technical solutions are low hanging fruit. Also airliners should have synthetic vision. It's a spectacular failure of the industry that they don't.

What about Nextgen project which requires planes to fly a few feet above our homes ? The noise generated by some of these airlines disturbing and scary. Our way of life has been ruined by the FAA.
