For over 200 years, the Yang Family has carried out the tradition and practice of tai chi chuan. Because of its gentle, large, and open movements, combined with a variety of health benefits, Yang Family Tai Chi has become the world’s most popular form of tai chi that is practiced today. This tradition has been passed down within the family from generation to generation, and is continued through the teaching of Master Yang Jun, the 5th generation direct-line inheritor of Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan, received from his grandfather Master Yang Zhenduo. The Yang Family Tai Chi organization is a world-wide association of over 80 Centers and Schools around the world authorized to teach tai chi chuan as passed down directly from the rich heritage and standards of the Yang Family under the direction of Master Yang Jun.
☯️ ¡Felicitaciones! Bonito homenaje. La práctica de esta disciplina es el mejor regalo que podemos darnos. Nuestra vida ya no será la misma, practicar Tai Chi es una forma increíble y maravillosa de enriquecerla y mejorar, en todos los aspectos, nuestra calidad de vida. ☯️
I'm never worrying about my form again. every person I watch is doing yang form completely differently. there are as many ways to do tai chi as there are people doing it. I'm letting my own chi guide me from now on.
She's not just letting her chi guide her. She studied under Yang Jun the current Yang family lineage holder. You should be doing the form the way your teacher taught you and not just make stuff up without proper understanding.
It's extremely precise and demonstrative, easy to follow and understand, which probably is the purpose of this video. The fluency suffers, though. Also, some movements seem to be simplified, similar to the standardised 24 style. I'd love to see grandmaster Jun perform, as he would do just for himself.
The Cloud Hands footwork is interesting. It kinda un-hides the fact that the backwards footwork in Repulse Monkey is actually used at an angle rather than straight back.

I’m going through this phase right now with my Iaido, the principle is the same to be honest, I’m having to push myself to go and train when I would rather just stay at home. As frustrating as it sounds, a bad training session is better than no training session.
Couple of things help me. First, Do research of the multitude of benefits you can gain from the practice. If some of what you find applies to you, then consider if you, and your life, are worth those minutes of effort. 2nd. Change up the practice, make it fun, find creative ways to drill the movements. Investigate more about all the different aspects of taijiquan, there's plenty to play with. Additionally, if you are a social person, get a practice buddy or group. I hope that helps
