Dearborn is to the Arabs like Miami is to Cubans and Latin Americans Boston is to the Irish New Jersey is to the Italians and New York City is to the Jewish people
Never heard anyone snowbirding in Texas. Texas gets cold and is not very scenic. Main snow bird destinations are Florida, Arizona, South Carolina or California if you can afford it
We have some loan options available that might work, those are of course very situational. Feel free to email me info@listingmi.com and we can chat more!
Exactly what I was looking to find out about Michigan and lake towns. I prefer quiet , rural and out of the way properties with a small town community with some like minded peeps, who share similar values.
Dearborn turned muslim didn’t it? it used to be so classy but i haven’t been there in about 16 years. ❤ they had the best gyros though. at one time the arabic people were so so nice but we heard they turned mean n paid the police off. 😢
This is just simply untrue. Please try to stay respectful on our channel. Dearborn is full of great people, just like the majority of the county. It is a melting pot of sorts and that makes it even more beautiful. The one thing I will agree with is the good food part. They have lots of great food. :) Please default to positivity. Many thanks.
Just got back from Traverse City this weekend. It was amazing this time of year. The leaves were insane. I am sure you can find good rentals in that town. We typically do not deal in rentals though sorry. You should totally consider living there though. It's amazing in my opinion.
Uhhhh detroit sucks. Literally nothing good about it. Neato i want to live in a top ten violent crime cities in the us. Oh wait its also in the top ten for property crime. Lets buy a house. Hey do they have any popular grocery stores? No? Why is that?
Just in case people are actually wondering about grocery stores in Detroit. There is Whole Foods, Meijer, Plum Market, one of the best farmers market's in the county that has been operating for 150 years in Eastern Market, other co-ops and small fun places to shop! Oh yeah. We are also called Hockey Town... Gordon Bombay.
@LIVINGINDETROIT I live an hour away. We haven't been hockey town for 20 years. The eastern market is not a grocery store, and Whole Food and meijer are new. How about a cosco or Sam's club. Or Kroger, or Walmart, or any one of the hundreds of others. Like Lowes or Home Depot? Nope, nothing there. Really weird, right? Detroit is safer than 1% of American cities. There is a 1 in 45 chance of being the victim of a violent crime and a 1 in 21 chance of being the victim of property crime. Brightmoor and warrendale are where people go to die. It's not good no matter what you say. Sorry about your hood. It's terrible.
@LIVINGINDETROIT detroit is ranked in the top 100 worst cities to live in. There are over 109k cities in the us. That's pretty pitiful. If the sports and casinos weren't in detroit, it would be a 3rd world country. Detroit crime has actually increased in 2024 too so the whole "it's getting better" thing doesn't exist. If I had Elon musk money pistons, wings and lions are back in oakland county. We'll pistons and lions. We'll welcome the wings with open arms. They don't need to be down there without the joe.
@LIVINGINDETROIT just in case people actually wonder about detroit and how it's one of the worst public schools in the country. It was rated the worst public school district 2 years in a row for 2017 and 2018. So you can't blame covid. There are so many good things about detroit, right?
Not a very good video I honestly understand it’s a year old, but it was rushed. There wasn’t a good view of the rooms as well as the bathrooms. You skipped over some of the closets didn’t even open the door not a very good video.. I live in Sherwood Forest and I’m very interested in buying more property but you guys have to work on your videos especially when it comes to Detroit and please thank you
Hey there. I agree. This one was rushed, the owner was there and there was a vibe that we couldn't stay long. Check out our other videos. Many of those are better. Thanks for following the channel.
In real estate? I started with nothing just like anyone else. I used social media to create value to as many people as I could and it worked. Basically just worked really hard and tried to do right by people and the rest figured itself out. I love what I do, I get to help clients sell and buy their homes, and our team get better. I am very lucky. Why do you ask?
For me these kinds of videos are better than just presenting in a room. Gives you a real feel of the area. Ive been there and explaining it in a room doesn't do the area justice...In my opinion
Thanks so much! That is the goal of many of these videos. You can see houses everywhere, but the community is just as important for many folks! Thanks for the feedback.
I feel for you. Over the past year, I have lost both of my cats, Frieda and Albert. I adopted them at five weeks old. Frieda developed oral cancer. Albert walked into my office and just died. Hopefully you are on the mend soon

Dearborn is great this is coming from a 52 y/o white dude who’s a Trump fan. I like the muslim community here always have 👍🏻 great people hard working family oriented. don’t listen to media.
Howdy! I'm considering several living options and Michigan is on the list. I saw your video on Ferndale and once drove through it during the Woodward Dream Cruise. I have a mobile hme in Florida but want to escape the humid summers. The resurgence of Detroit and it's history fascinate me but I also like the water so an inexpensive cabin in a small lake town is also appealing. I would have to be able to lock and leave it for extended periods of time though. Thanks for posting.
Thanks so much for the comment! There are a ton of places that come to mind. If you ever want to chat, feel free to go to our Calendly link on our main page and set up a time! Many thanks.
Beautiful home, never could replace that.Actually, we have a good friend who just bought a home down the street from there two years ago, she lived in Grosse Pointe, always wanted to live in the city, her husband passed and at 61 years old turned around and bought a huge home about six doors down from it, she absolutely loves living there, her home is not as big as that one ,but it’s big enough about 4000 ft.² she gutted the thing She just loves being there. Her property taxes are extremely high, but she’s pretty lucky to have very deep pockets and could care less, said now or never.. don’t forget the best donuts in the city ,Dutch girl donuts ,since the 1920s ,has reopened totally authentically ,just about a mile away !
Yeah, they actually just changed ownership! The new owners are really good people so I’m excited for that. It’s a fantastic area and irreplaceable history!
