Это не Бежар, от слова - СОВСЕМ! Больше похоже на микс «Баядерки» с Камасутрой. Желательно всё же понимать смысл исполняемого. Особенно когда речь идёт о сочинениях Бежара.
Ah je me disais bien que j'étais pas fou!!! Tout à fait d'accord! j'viens de voir une version danser par La Cie de Béjart et c'est vrai que c'est tout pareil,mais pas Béjart quoi! Là c'est superbement danser,mais proprement et danser pour être "pretty" il n'y a pas l'esthétique que béjart à voulu transmettre,puis l'énergie! rien à voir! c'est beau,pas à dire! des danseurs exceptionnels! une propreté sans comparaison,mais le voir danser par la Cie Béjart,comme toute ses pièces,ça à Rien à Voir!
I saw Svetlana's Giselle last week in Opera di Roma and I must say I was really impressed, especially by second act. She was so delicate, so sublime, so light, you didn't hear that she was moving on the scene. She managed to create a ghost impression. I haven't seen yet Diana Vishneva in this role live so I can't not compare. Both of theme are special.
this is my favorite Bolle/Zakharova partnership (Pas De Deux), mostly because here Bolle is really playing an active role in the character of Giselle, instead of just a dance partner courting each other. Giselle is supposed to be a ghost here so Bolle's balance and movement in his steps while holding her is critical to make the perception that she is floating like a spirit, and they do a perfect job with one another
(No hate please...just speaking my opinion) I am not a fan of Svetlana. Her technique is superb, (much better than I'll ever do) but to me her artistry just isn't there. I don't know if it's that I'm not connecting with her because of cultural differences, or something else but I've just never been "wowed" by her. In every role I've seen her dance I've not thought it suited her...until now! My goodness, it's like her whole being was MADE for Giselle! I'm saying it...wow!!!
she is the best technique qualified prima ballerina in this century,and I respect her work a lot,but still I dont like her in this role,for me her best role is swanlake,especially the black swan ,she shows her perfection and pretention of someting royal,maybe because she is a "queen" ???
I don't think she needed to go all out on her extensions here. It kind of ruins the upper body and smoothness for me...but she IS a fantastic dancer. Her Carmen is incredible.
@Kata397533 I usually think the higher the extensions, the more beautiful, that's one of the things i love most about Zakharova is her beautiful flexibility but i don't think she over does it... Somova overdoes it... But i really love how high she gets her extensions, in everything, not just Giselle but in all the videos of her. I think the closer to the ear you are the more beautiful it is, but i mean that's just me
Svetlana is amazing in some roles, especially in La Fille du pharon. i really loved her in that, but Giselle is not her ballet. She has no taste when it comes to this role!
