You can get them in the air for about 42k with the base AeroVee 80hp engine. Engine options can dramatically change the cost. Turbo version of the AeroVee costs another 5k, but has much better climb and cruise performance. Not sure what the Jabiru 3300 is going for but the UL260/350 about 18-20k extra. A very kitted out airframe would probably be in the 65-70k range new. I have no idea what the 2nd hand market is like.
