I have the Studio version, but it is my understanding that it does also work on the unpaid version. Here are the steps: 1. Import your video and audio files into your Media Pool. 2. Create a new timeline or open an existing one. 3. Drag your video clip(s) onto the timeline. 4. Select all the audio clips you want to sync in the Media Pool. 5. Right-click on one of the selected audio clips and choose "Auto Sync Audio Based on Waveform" from the context menu. 6. DaVinci Resolve will analyze the audio waveforms and automatically place the synced audio clips on new tracks in your timeline, aligned with the video. 7. Review the sync and make any manual adjustments if necessary. If you need more precise control or if the auto sync doesn't work perfectly, you can also: Use the "Auto Align Clips" feature in the timeline Manually align clips using waveforms as a visual guide
Try this.....To record your computer's audio in Logic Pro X without an audio interface, you can use a built-in macOS feature called "Audio MIDI Setup" along with a third-party audio routing application. Here's a step-by-step guide: Install an audio routing application: Download and install free audio routing software like Blackhole or Soundflower. Set up the audio routing: Open "Audio MIDI Setup" (you can find it using Spotlight search). Create a multi-output device that includes your built-in output and the audio routing software. Configure system audio: In System Preferences > Sound, set the output to the multi-output device you created. Set up Logic Pro X: Open Logic Pro X and create a new audio track. In the track's input settings, select the audio routing software as the input source. Enable input monitoring: Turn on input monitoring for the audio track in Logic Pro X. Start recording: Play the audio you want to record on your computer. Hit the record button in Logic Pro X to capture the computer's audio.
Now, I want the opposite , I have my UAD Apollo solo connected and want to record a voice over a movie while playing. Can’t figure how to avoid the inner sound of the macbook from printing in the track!!! I have sound flower and black hole installed but on logic, my input and output is set to be UAD only. Any help?
My bad on earlier comments. It won't be uploaded here from here on. Leetothevi has the full interview on his Patreon..... www.patreon.com/posts/99599451
Some ppl route the computer audio to Virtual tracks - i did this in my mac long ago and its great, so if youve already done this then record from those instead of 3/4
Thank you for your feedback. There is a way around this. You can download 'Soundflower' to run through your logic pro to capture the recording as I have done in this video.
@@GeauxSaints121 So the way I got around it is by using a 1/4 inch to1/4 cable from my headphone port directly in to either my 1st or second input. Works like a charm if you have speakers to listen from.
