Very detailed, thanks for that. Curious, is this video sponsered by WS? Or do either of you work for WS? Most of your videos mention WS in one way or another...
No, it’s not - and no, we don’t! It’s the investment platform that we personally use to invest, so it’s the platform that we like the most, and mention whenever we talk about investing 😊
I honestly don't see a problem with highly wealthy people exist, I mean as long as the person has made his, her or their fortune in a legal and honest way. I don't understand why there's people saying that billionaires shouldn't exist, I would like to see the same kind of people who criticized billionaires having the same beliefs if they were billionaires themselves. The problem is that many people what they are are envious of people who are wealthier than them therefore they tend to criticize those wealthy people
You missed the mark here. The reality is that a billion dollars or a billion in anything is so inconceivably large that even dreaming of billions is statistically pointless. No one’s envious - people just see the ridiculous amount of wealth inequality that exists in the world.
Very well explained. Clear information for someone like me who is a NEW B. Can you please show us how do I buy stocks and etf gold ? Also is there a platform where I can join to get recommendation on which stock to trade.
The downpayment you put towards real estate has a real opportunity cost people often overlook, so you need to weigh all your options for what that money can get you over time to increase your returns
Great job ! I’d never tell anyone what to do, but if I was asked I’d say get married before you buy property together. It’ll save you guys a headache god forbid if something doesn’t workout. Speaking from experience. Great video!

At some point you may want to surrender your life insurance policy that is terminate your coverage. Be sure you understand how to do that. Some companies make it very difficult for you to do it. Read all the fine print and be sure to speak to your agent about it in person. Don’t rely only on written feedback. Speaking of agents, work only with local reputable agents and companies. Forget online and especially out of state insurance companies as their customer service departments often comes across as highly impersonal, hard to speak directly to your agent, defaulting instead to text messaging emailing, automated bots on the phone, and a wide range of ways of getting rid of you and/ or wasting your time and energy. You want a local agent who knows you and who you can meet with in person. Insurance policy may cost more but it’s worth it to have an agent close by.
QQQM is a Nasdaq 100 ETF, meaning that you'd only be invested in the United States, and more specifically, 100 large cap growth stocks. This isn't a very diversified ETF, by geography or sector. I personally feel as though global diversification (and sector diversification) is important as a long-term investor. 😊
Question... When you auto invest yourl dividends within a registered account, do those go against your contribution room? Or is it treated like interest growth
My wife and I are 35 and we reached 1.25 million networth with about 500K in investments with the rest is the property. This is including mortgage. We are very lucky.
Hi Steph and Den, I am currently out of a job and using my emergency fund to get by right now. Outside of my emergency fund I have a some money sitting on a HISA. I am a little scared to start investing since I'm out of a job but I'm 25 and everyday that passes feels like a waste but again I don't know how long will this dry period end and not sure if it's the right move to start investing now. I'm a little lost right now. Any insight you can offer would be appreciate it! Thank you for all your work you're the reason why I gather the courage to look at other options other than big banks!
