I always say "make the excuse to not wear your half-shell vs. making excuses to not wear a full face." I'm baffled when friends insist on wearing a half shell because we're doing some fire road climbing to trails that otherwise would qualify as double-black/pro line level at a bike park.
I know these videos don't do justice and yet there still scary. You guys are very skilled but what happens to an average rider who wants to bike some of these very difficult trails. Seems like you can get seriously injured or die. But I don't hear about bikers falling off cliffs and dying.
Sorry to hear about your wreck and glad you're alright. I love Norway! I got to spend 2 weeks there back in 2010 and have wanted to go back ever since. I got my postcard from Hell while I was there, I just wish I could have gotten it postmarked as well, but the post office was closed.
