Ask lang po Engr. sa problem 3, nganong hantud year 15 after year 11 ang solution? assumption ra na po nga mag 5 years para sa n or naay sundon nga concept ana?
Hello po Engr. Ask ko lang sa geometric gradient series, what if magkaiba po yung time frame ng interest and growth rate. Like for example po, annual growth rate, and yung interest rate is compounded monthly. What is interest rate, growth rate, and yung number of period po here?
convert the rate by comparing their effective rates....i have a sample problem in ordinary annuity where the mode of payment is not the same as the interest rate. just watch it for your reference.
It's because the formula derived in arithmetic gradient is only for the present worth....so when you want to get the future amount, use the formula for compound interest....
Hello, Sir. In Sample Problem 2, how do you calculate TAB, TAD, and P using Caltech, especially since the value of P is not given? What should be inputted for P to obtain the final answer? I look forward to your response. Thank you, Sir!
After summing up forces, you have three equations with three unknowns with P as the 3rd variable . You can use MODE 5-2 to solve for the unknows. Just make sure to transpose the constants to the right side of the equation..
@besfrenjohny ako na ge try sir but ma math error sha, ako ng ge tranpose pod ang mga constant pero dle gyod sha ma kuha. Sa pag butang ba sa sa MODE 5-2 sir kay si P is 0???
Are you referring to the centroid of a triangle or area of a parabolic spandrel and parabolic segment? If centroid, you must know the reference. If it's the area, then 1/3 for a spandrel and 2/3 for a segment.
Actually, you can put the actual value of L but since there is a condition the problem that the L/A ratio is equal to one, the value of A will be the same as L. So it's okay to put "1" for L and A since ma cancel ra.
The correct answer is "For a roller support, the reaction is perpendicular to the surface". In the given problem, the surface is vertical, therefore the reaction is horizontal.
In the video, the detailed solution was not shown because I said that the reactions can be obtained using a calculator which has functions that can solve simultaneous equations. But if you want to solve it manually, you can use method of eliminations.
you are correct...typo error...but stll the decision will not change since AC of type A is still bigger than the AC of type B after the corrected value of the depreciation is applied...thank you for the comment..
no problem...you can plot it as is using the same direction and magnitude because the diagram is just a superposition of all force polygons of the joints...another way is to resolve the force into horizontal and vertical components.
