The consistency of the idea what makes it's a good idea...if ai can make those models and drop into unreal that would ve great. But i haven't seen ai generate anything 3d models that is good enough yet only puctures..
I think that John Carpenter's "They Live", is close enough) In They Live, we have: 1)Blond hair protagonist, with giant muscles, who wears sunglasses. 2)Aliens. 3)Big Guns. Aslo main hero says Duke's line about bubblegum and kicking ass)
My friend told me that we'll never see a Duke Nukem movie. I said it's possible if they did it as a tongue in cheek satire that's self aware of how ridiculous it is in concept while using Duke to deconstruct action hero tropes he's based on. Then my friend stopped me and said he meant because Randy Pitchford owns Duke Nukem and I was like, "Oh, shit..."
In 2024 if they would actually make a Duke Nukes movie, in all his 'toxic masculine' glory. Just the way we remember those awesome games. Being the biggest badass on the planet. Saving babes and killing aliens while hitting awesome one-liners. I think it will hit record box office numbers. We need a film like this in current day of age.
