Remastered, remixed and re-edited versions of the songs from the 80's cartoon Jem. I don't own any rights. This is a non profit project I'm doing for myself, and many others who also love Jem and The Holograms.
Should an official sountrack of these songs ever be released, I'll gladly take these versions down.

I strongly recommend using headphones or speakers for listening to these songs. Some of the effects used don't sound well squeezed through a mono source.
Important note: Recently people asked me privately to send them a link to download all the songs. I don't do that, because if I did, I wouldn't need a RU-vid channel anymore.

Ok not only did she slay on this but this vaguely reminds me of that song “the Girls/Boys of Rock & Roll” from the Chipmunks/Chipettes (in a good way of course lol) even the way they sing “Roll-a” is exactly the same…then again, both Jem and the Chipmunk Adventure movie came out in the 80’s so maybe it was the singing style of the time 😹 great job as always! 💖💫
@@StarliteJem Thank you, I finally, after years, realised that the 30 second outro was just the intro minus The Misfits but the edit of that, used in the cartoon, is so well done...but the quality of the ones online are not comparable to what you put up. I thought I'd ask cus the rest of the quality of the uploads are so amazing, but I have never heard a HQ version of the short outro.
I always loved all the songs on the show especially this one it's my favorite. I wish people who love the song would watch the show it's really good although I do get the criticism of the third season.
@@jfmax2000 I‘m still in doubt about that. In the master recording background vocal you can clearly hear her singing M instead of Jem dripping through very silent. Which would mean, she recorded the theme song differently before it was renamed to Jem. They just used the already existing background vocals, which also means this couldn’t have been her audition because she sang it before. Then again. This happened 100 years ago. Maybe she can’t clearly remember anymore how it happened.

I love the jem theme song found out through my transformers VHS that advertised gijoe, jem and the transformers movie trailers before the transformers episodes started. Pure nostalgia I've been listening watching transformers gijoe and jem since late 90's and 00's golden days.
For someone who, just recently came in contact with the show. I checked out the series, and it wasn't that bad I'm surprised it's a hidden gem to behold here. My favorite season is season 2 overall with character development and everything. the finale of the series was tied up pretty well, overall not a bad series from the 80's decade watching it all for the 1st time, I even liked some of the song's.
Ok, im not crazy LOL Anytime I've had discussions with other folks who know about Jem, i always bring up this theme song, and no one can seem to remember it! Thanks for posting this. This took me all the way back, lol
Looking back on things, maybe it's just me but Rio looks alot like Joesph Joestar(or I guess other way around) Araki really was into 80s obscure American tv shows, music,etc at the time.. You dont think when he made Battle Tendency...
0:12 the main tempo kind of sounds like the 1982 song “Love lift us up where we belong” but in a different key lol (at least to me it sounds like it) 🤷♀️ not in a bad way though, of course 😹
