My 90 yo mom loves the mystery shade! Got it as a gift and we just ordered more. Lasts all day and is nice and creamy. She doesn’t use lip liner and it still stays in place.
Just bought this color "Warrior" as well as the color "Independent" after taking the color recommendation test on their site. I hate the color and do not recommend this color to women who are Hispanic or those with an olive skin tone. It completely washes me out. I had my girlfriend try it and she is white, and it also looked horrible on her. Not a fan. Does not last long and would not recommend it.
I just bought the color True lip stick. I have medium tone skin and usually use corals and peach tones. I found that True was a bit too light for me. I decided to use it over my darker lipsticks to lighten them up a bit. Works beautifully.
I always use coral or peachy lipsticks. Coral Reef is one of my favorites from Color the World. I just bought Daybreak and the color is absolutely gorgeous 😍
I’m over 50 with hooded eyes. The way she applies only works for younger ladies. I love your products but the application process per age group is important to know especially cheeks and eyes.
What do you do if your brows are sparse, white, and now reside at or beneath the eye socket? I had tattoos done but the upkeep is expensive and I’m retired on social security.
LOVE the lipsticks 💄 my fave is ‘Pretty in Pink’. Also love the brow pomade-a pencil wasn’t doing its job anymore, with the outer half of my brows very thin, non-existent really after Thyroid cancer, the pomade is easy to apply and looks so natural. I have the blush too which looks like a natural flush of color on my skin. I am an Aesthetician and nurse and can say that this line is truly everything they say it is!! Lipsticks that do not bleed into lip lines, brow pomade that is a joy to apply and natural looking. Try them out-you will not be disappointed!! Oh and the bonus to all products-they donate a percentage to different causes!!
It would be helpful to identify each color used. Also the product page info should give more details about the color, intensity, tone, etc. Very hard to choose the right color especially for the face sticks, and they aren't cheap. Please add more info as you do for your lipsticks. I want to try one of these but don't have enough color info. Samples would be a huge help even if you charged a dollar or two for each.
THEY definitely need to take a clue from Tarte and show models of the basic skin tones with the Face Sticks in each color. Need to see these face sticks on skin knowing which one it is!
Okay, so she did a decent job of blending but...but the beginning part of her brow was not done neatly at all...it's way to sloppy looking...she could've easily used a Qtip to give it a cleaner less thick and sloppy look with a few quick defining strikes if a Qtip. Since you finally acknowledged we grey/silver gals I might just try the pomade in "Light Grey" which I hope is more "salt & pepper grey".
I second the requests of the other commenters: which products are used? I'm sorry for this next point, but it's my honest response -- I'd love to see a new video with a different person. 1. Her complexion & facial structure are nothing like mine. 2. [*cringing sheepishly*] The model does a terrible job of blending (especially with the dark first stick); at the end, she looks dirty, like she ran in from a wind storm & she's grimy from sweat & dust. PS nothing to do with this video: I'm very interested in this type of product, but it's strange that your ads talk about 50 & 60 yo, but >half models look 30ish.
I agree with you! There is help in finding the right shade of lipstick on their site but not how to find the right shade for the face sticks collection. I LOVE the lipsticks and have many colors and am interested in the face sticks, but I need some help on figuring out which would work well for me!
Seems like all that rubbing and tugging over time will make skin more prone to stretching and sagging. Can it be applied with less aggressive pressing the skin?
It would be helpful to note which color is being used and its purpose. Also, offering samples for a few bucks would be MOST helpful as the lipsticks often don't look exactly as they appear on the Color the World website--I have quite a few of those. Need more info on how to select the best face stick. I'd like to try one of the face sticks but no idea which one.
You don't say or indicate colors used or where to get these products if one is interested. Never heard of .W Colors products til I happenstanced on this tutorial. Like quickness & simplicity with application.
Can you add a video that has just swatches of EVERY lipstick color on several different models with different skin tones (extra fair, ivory, beige, tan, caramel, deep tan, mocha, and ebony). Maybe you could have them all stand side-by-side for each lipstick color, in a video. This would help me out A LOT, as I have trouble finding pictures for the lipstick I'd like to buy on the skin color I'm most similar to (which for me, is extra fair). I'm sure I'm not the only gal out there with this problem! I'd love to buy more of your products but I want to be sure they look good on me first, or if they would look good on a friend if I'm purchasing as a gift Thanks!
I wish you would list the color each model is wearing. It would really be helpful when trying to purchase. Buying lipstick is hard enough in person online I feel like it’s impossible.
