Boat makers charge these ridiculous prices because people pay it. If the American consumer would stop paying these obsurde ridiculous prices, the prices would come down drastically.
Salt water and aluminum doesn't mix. Electrolysis will destroy the aluminum. Not to mention the boat has no styling to it. Looks like an over size john boat.
The black spartan looks fantastic, but man imagine how hot that paint would be in the summertime sun. I'd probably be happy to look at the black boat while driving my white boat lol
Is Stabicraft not a highend fishing boat? I'm confused. Genuinely curious to know. I live in South Florida, would this not be a great boat for this side of the country?
@@northwesthotspots6309 would this boat not do well over here? I’m looking to purchase a boat and I’ve been researching this aluminum boat along with others. Not sure if aluminum will do well out here in the Florida straights?
Only buy a boat when you are MORE than comfortable paying for it in full with a certified check. If you are making payments on a boat then you clearly can't afford it in most cases. These companies are ripping you off because they are mismanaged and do not know how to run a lean and mean business and they don't push back against way overpriced suppliers. To many mouths to feed and to expensive for a fairly simple product.
Is there any electric fishing boats/small yachts that have a ton of battery in them and long range? Possibly solar panels? I"m trying not to pay $300 every time I take my boat into the water.
@@CelebrityLyrics There’s only one or 2 electric boats at every boat show. It just takes to much power to push a boat. The batteries just won’t last long at all. Maybe take a look at hybrids!
@@northwesthotspots6309 Oh hybrids also sound like a fantastic option. Can you give any good brands that make good quality fishing boats? Also when do you think electric fishing boats (based on battery tech advancement) will take over the market and be a good replacement for gas powered motors?
You want to move to Hawaii? The one place the gov took everyone’s 2nd amendment rights away? Wholly shameful shit I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!!! Nothing more to say!
Expensive, and then there’s the electronics, communication, safety, and fishing gear needed to make it work for you. Not to mention the mooring/storage and towing vehicle and expenses and fuel for the tow vehicle and boat. I’d love to have one anyway. You know what they say about boats. A boat is a big hole in the ocean into which money is poured.
If you think I'm spending over $30,000.00 for a boat to go fishing on weekends and couple weeks of vacation all boat manufacturing are over pricing I'm just find looking for older boat
Suzuki makes a super nice motor , smooth and quiet. I've never seen anyone have an issue with Suzuki. In fact I live in Southwest Florida and when guys repower their boats they usually go with Suzuki. Get more bang for your buck when compared with Yamaha
That 28 ft pilot is my dream boat , cross over from Haulover to Bahamas and spend a week fishing and camping out. All it needs is a portable A/C for the cabin. Sick boat!
The whole point of alloy boats started popularity for being affordable. But since the blow up in popularity thanks to so many bias owners telling bulls. the price increased have suppassing a nice glass boat. yet, the nature of alloy pontoo means you get a bouncy hollow ride that bangs as soon as you past a certin speed, doesnt track well at all in the rough and you can hear water noise magify through the hull in calm water while sitting still in a 25ft alloy pontoon that costs 400k rigged. I've being in white pointer, AMF and those alloy boats are by far better with soft ride, track true in rough seas and low noise like a glass boat would.
@@northwesthotspots6309 yeah, compared it to a car that has a lot of technologies in it that comes in standard from engine, suspensions, brakes, power amenities and the list goes on, while these boats are just curved metals (aluminum) or fiberglass and equipments are so basic and yet prices are sky high. Though I would really like to buy a boat but seeing the prices just don't make sense.
@@jonp9654 absolutely! That’s a good point. I’m with you. For me I would but a used 16’ with a decent outboard. That good enough to do just about anything! Keep it under $10,000
Nope to high when they sale to the masses unrealistic prices not paying on a boat for 3 years much less 10-20 or 50 years greed kills a economy and a job
@@francisjarvis1368 yes those are perfect size boats . I’m with you but I like duel console with the cushy front seats and set up for fishing in the back.
The one that I bought had a 175 on it. I had them take it off and put a 150 on the 150 is a great motor. Very good on gas has a higher gear ratio get gets up on plane faster and there’s really no need for a 175 150 plenty eight I get it up to 45 miles an hour with four guys loaded with fish and tackle Downrigger’s and all.
@@anthonybonanzinga1009 yea you really don’t need a big motor. If you can go 45 then that’s fast enough for sure, that’s all you need. If I can cruse comfortably at 30 without pushing the motor to hard that’s good enough for me. What’s the big rush.
The problem with most of those boats is that you can’t let the damn fish we’re all falling out of the boat and rough weather. I like my 18 1/2 foot Lund I don’t need the extra 2 feet. They have a 20 1/2 footer also fits comfortably plenty of room in the back to fish down rigger and very short distance to the fish.
@@anthonybonanzinga1009 yea some people really like the free drifter boats because you can fish from the sides and even from the front of the boat. No windshield in the way!
