Hello everyone, and welcome to my RU-vid channel. I'm Cristina, a 50-something artist, photographer, writer and flower lover.
I grew up in Italy but I have lived many years abroad, in Ireland and England. I now live in France, in the beautiful Haute-Vienne, in an old farmhouse that my husband and I are still renovating, and that we share with three feline companions.
Introvert & highly sensitive, I try to infuse all I create with beauty, to soothe and inspire myself and others. Slow seasonal living, being in nature, and creativity are key for my wellbeing, and gardening is my medicine.
My videos are meant to be a calm chronicle of all the beauty I find in the garden, its seasonal shifts, and the small wonders of simple everyday living.
@@natashadenness thank you! The hot air balloon usually flies over our garden and house a few times during summer, very early in the morning - I was lucky to catch it ☺️
@@ColliCristina No I don’t live there but I sure imagine I have lots of relatives 🥰 I’m 77 yrs old now but sure wish my children and grandchildren could and will visit. Are you from France. Have you ever been to Saint Paer France. I’m Linda Sue de St. Paer ( now Kalinec
@@lindakalinec973 I'm Italian, I've been living in France for five years. I've never visited Saint Paer, I'm sure it's lovely like the rest of France 😍
Your video is so soothing to watch, Cristina! The David Austin roses are stunning, and so is your gardens and grounds. Thank you so much for sharing a video, with the small movement by the winds, and the rain. 💗
A calming Sunday morning watch. 🙏🏻 I enjoyed seeing your beautiful plants and flowers and the different weather conditions - especially the cosy rain! 🌧 Beautiful video, Cristina. 🤍
Hello, I know that this video was posted some time ago, nevertheless, I noticed that you adjusted the Highlight and Shadow sliders in both the Tone Curve and Basic panels. What is the difference between the sliders in these two panels? Are they essentially do the same thing? Thank you! I really have enjoyed your videos and appreciate you sharing.
Hi there! I'm glad you enjoyed my videos, thank you for letting me know :) About your question: Highlight & Shadow in the Basic panels affect the whole image - so for example if you up the highlights, all highlights will be lightened up (although with a different intensity), if you lighten up the shadows all shadows will be lighten up (again, with a different intensity), and so on. With the Tone Curve, you can select specific points that correspond to a certain range of light/shadow, and so you can be more precise and change only that certain range rather than the whole image. This is a great way to apply contrast to the image in the a precise way. I hope this helps!
