I purchased it at a local auction new for $1,800.. The mower came with the aux quick attach hydraulic fittings and a 4 button controller for in the cab that controls tilt and swing. It requires a constant 12v power supply, I have mine wired to a cigarette lighter socket and the controller hanging from a “S” hook for easy mount/dismount.
I will be using it again soon I will attempt to make another video of mounting and brush cutting with it. I have few other videos from other phones but cannot get them to transfer to my phone without being all distorted.
Yeah, I work at a tire shop, and they are not directional by any means. REAL DIRECTIONAL TIRES HAVE AN ARROW AND NOT AN INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. Clearly, u dont know what you're talking about. Tires are grooved for water evacuation, regardless of what u say it still evacuates water
Yeah, I worked a tire shop fer 10yrs also(tire and alignment tech).True about “Real” directional tires but obviously if you LOOK at the tread one way will pull water into the center of the tire if mounted that way and not if mounted the other way. Good luck
I rook my Fullways to get them, they were all scratching their heads about the thread pattern. Some read multiple times where was Outside and where was Inside. They were about to say, thats what you get when buying from other stores, but they had to hold back as they were bought Walmart online store. One of the mechanics when to the website and search for them, he was confused, but went ahead and installed them as described. *they work fine, are quiet, have good traction, no issues so far*
🤣😂🤣😂 ROFL who believes this guy who is not an engineer and knows nothing about tires. 🤣😂 The weight and momentum of the car forces the water from the center channels through the outer channels. Water doesn't get suck into the center 😂🤣😂 trust the manufacturer. Mount them like this guy, get in an accident and then sue him for this false advice 😂🤣😂
Don't think I'll buy these I knew something wasn't right I've had plenty sets of directional tires and when you buy them there should be a arrow pointing in direction of rotation and the way this tread is made you have to get two left tires and two Right Tires to get a set of four they just don't seem right to me I'll pass
You would need two left tires and two right tires with arrow thread on the outside pointing forward. if you mount these tires with arrow thread facing front you will have one side with arrow thread on the inside and the other side with arrow thread pointing outward, this just does not make sense. I debated with some yokohamas and some falken, that were not even so "directional" as your tires.
To mount them as indicated on the sidewall is to have one side of the channeling rain and snow to the outside of the tire and one side channeling to the center of the tire. This destroys traction and safety on anything but dry roads. To mount them so that all tires channel rain and snow to the outside is to mount one side reverse of what is indicated and have all 4 tires channel to one side of the car, which is also unsafe on slippery roads. I had these tires mounted as indicated and they made the car undriveable in the winter. I’ve driven a lot of cars on a lot of all-season tires in the winter, but these were the first I’ve ever experienced that just did not work at all in the snow. The “all-season” rating is fraudulent.
Not sure this is worth anything but: the wavey sideways channel goes from very shallow near the tire center to rather deep as it approaches the tire edge. I wonder if this "ramp effect" is what directs the water away from the center, regardless of what the rotation direction is.
If these tires are truly directional, mustn't that mean: 1) Fullway forgot to mark the rotation direction on the tire and 2) Fullway probably should not have marked them Inside/Outside (since the rotation direction would define In/Outside) ? Kinda hard to believe Fullway make those mistakes?
I did mount them the way I wanted and no abnormal wear as of yet and we’re at 20k miles. The car is also a Toyota Corolla S, and we are not easy on it either(taken corners pretty hard and daily driven).
The outside treads are made of a harder compound than the inside because they take the brunt of the turning. I understand that you have 20k on them so far and don't see much wear. But I can see the warranty going up the road. Just the same. Seeing they are not put on as directed.
We are at 20k miles so far, they are wearing evenly and show minimal signs of wear. And we are not easy on them, they are on a ‘13 Toyota Corolla S. And No hydroplaning with the way I mounted them.
I’m glad you made this video cause I was confused a bit that I started looking for right and left cause the outside pattern was different. Not something I ever seen before.
They're Not directional, they are asymmetrical tires. The outside patern is a little more stiffer that the inside, this is because when a vehicle turn, the weight transfer to the outside part or the tire, this will help with wear and make the steering response more crisp.
Actually both is correct. These tires are asymmetrical AND directional. The directional tread must be mounted correctly as this man explains in the video.
So, according to factory spec, the tires are mounted 2 going one direction and 2 going the opposite direction…. What does it really matter which way you mount them ?? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@benzw2505 No, they are asymmetrical one pattern for the outside and one for the inside not directional. For that reason the marking is on the tire side. Right now I'm running Continental Dws06 plus, they are asymmetrical too if you see the pattern looks like a directional tire. Even some times got different compound on each side
I purchased two yokohama asymmetrical tires, they do not make sense on how the thread direction go, it really looks like you are mounting them wrong, I asked 5 tire places and they all say that they mount "outside" facing away from the car. I got a pair of falken ziex 912 and same thing, for my logic there should be two left tires, two right tires, with the correct looking threads pointing forward saying "outside" all 4 tires cant be the same.
@@benzw2505 'What does it really matter which way you mount them ?? 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂' Maybe because the outside is intended to be the outside sidewall of the tire, and is stiffer for cornering. The 'average' of the road tilt and water draining direction is NOT even, it is tilted slightly right. The asymmetric tread pumping in one manner on the right side and differently on the left side when the pattern is reversed may be the entire purpose of the asymmetric pattern. The road isn't the same and even on total average, 'optimum' long term tire pattern to fit that unevenness is not 'symmetrical'. It probably makes relatively little difference except in tiny edge cases, but Fullway didn't invent this stuff, they just copy this from better companies like almost everyone else. But you can bet there was a reason those companies invented it, even though it's probably relatively minor.
I have this same boom mower, when at full 90 degrees be careful not to hit something the pins are not that strong and break easily, go super slow. I also welder an old oxygen cap cut in half over the center bolt as it will protect the nut from getting damaged on rocks and coming off, it easy to cut off if needed. The blades are cheap and bend easy I went to a wider and straight set now it works better., I also put a cover plate where the electrical wires are exposed to protect them easy to get snagged. Thanks for the tip bluethunder. You also have to be careful cutting above the cab with the mower tip down as it will throw debris right at you especially if you don’t have a enclosed cab or door. It threw branches 40feet or more away, we had to sweep the road after we were finished. I do have couple more videos, just trying to edit them yet. Thanks again.
@@benzw2505 for sure it can throw them a long ways, I never cut with the tip down above the cab, I have a polycarbonate door with a diy wire mesh screen I made. It works great on the sticks and rocks. If you need any tips on the mower let me know.
@@bluethunder1951 I'm looking at buying one but I'm wondering how it rotates? What controls in my bobcat will allow me to move the boom? Or do you set the boom angle manually before getting in your machine?

Thank you for this video. I ordered the same tires and had the shop mount it correctly which took some explaining. Fullway Tires should have included an arrow on the tires pointing in the direction it should spin like all other directional tires.
@@Klatch89Technically they are Not considered a “directional tire”. You can mount them either way, I just prefer the tread pattern to match and use my own judgement as to water dissipation. No clue as to why they label them as they do from the factory, when they do appear “Directional “.
I see yeah they do appear directional bc of the way the tread looks so idk bow the water distribution is going to get rid of water but they said it works so idk I still have them mounted all sides saying outside outside

@@fishingboyjr They are labeled “inside & outside “ and if you were to mount them that way, the tread pattern would not Match as I show. So I use my own judgement how to mount them the way I think they should properly be mounted. Thanks
