I don't see the problem as strictly race to me and I only speaking for myself I live in a predominantly white conservative town growing up poor in that town I and my friends were constantly getting messed with by the cops they did all sorts of shady shit to us and if I had come from a wealthy well known family I guarantee I wouldn't have had to deal with it I'm not discrediting the black experience in saying that certain people abuse their power regardless if there is no black folks to mess with a poor white teenage boy is just as good
Its a class issue as much as a race issue, but that doesnt mean there isn't a long painful history of racism as a way to relieve class tensions specifically targeted at African Americans. They have been enslaved, lynched, ripped off, experimented on, murdered in their homes and businesses when they became too successful and re-enslaved through the system of mass incarceration. The things that poor whites are experiencing now, have been happening to black people for as long as they've been on this side of the ocean, and thats the difference.

It’s not just black people though I’ve been beaten and pulled over stripped naked in a jail cell all kinds of shit. Police harassment doesn’t necessarily discriminate and we’re never gonna stop this harassment until we realize that they’ll do it to anyone they believe is lower than the system. They are using the African American victims to make us fight and keep us segregated...and it’s working sadly.

@Mister Physics really you know this you grew up with him you were raised in his house because according to his family it was a matriarchy in his house his mom the brown skin Hispanic was the head of the household. And virtually all of George Zimmerman's friends were non-white growing up. at least according to his brother that's what his brother claims now I don't know if this was true or not I didn't grow up with him period but according to Zimmerman's brother the vast majority of people in Zimmerman's life throughout his life have been non-whites. Of these, 3,446 were Black victims. www.naacp.org/history-of-lynchings/ Every single year there an average of 7,500 Homicides of Black People, mainly Young Black Men killing other one another. So every 7 months more Black People are murdered in America than were ever Lynched in the entire 137 years since the Civil War ended. Lynching was wrong and is an abomination to the History of the Country but you need to ask yourself why the Largest verifiable threat to People of Color's lives receive almost no attention or resolution from Hollywood, Pro Athletes, Politicians, Social Media or the Corporate Mass Media?
