Would you say it’s easier to do this method of distressed locs with pre-made locs??? I want this patterned distressed look but don’t have pre-made locs rn 😭😭so I’ve been trying to find videos but y’all really be using the pre-made locs for the spacing method.

What makes the soul locs heavy because you extended them or because you used 2 pieces of spring twist hair at beginning? And can I use one piece of spring twist hair at the beginning?
I have seen this method before whereby the pull the loop through the shaft of the braid itself instead of at the root so that there's not a big knot at the top, which I like. However, I don't like how it looks when you don't wrap the braid inside the faux Loc first before using the loose hair to wrap it. The finished product llooks sort of like your client has two strand twist at the top and locs toward the bottom. It doesn't look like a consistent loc from top to bottom.
This popped up on my suggested list and I'm so glad I clicked on it....This was exactly what I was looking for! Love the very, very detailed instructions....I feel confident I can try this on my daughter's hair...she has 4c hair with edges almost to her eyebrows😄. Keep the videos coming. New subbie!
