Age 12 (c.1970) diagnosed w/ nasopharynx tumor... in Balt. MD... local ENT tried to cut it out, and I needed two complete transfusions, almost died, parents took me to JohnHopkins, they sent me to Toronto Children's Hospital, they cooked it w/ 14 Cobalt 60 treatments,,,, I sort of grew up, at age 38 had testis cut off, and prophylactic radiotherapy, at age 60, huge Meningioma... cooked it w/ Gamma knife,,,, friggin Cobalt, Cobalt, Cobalt.... Oh Canada!!!!!!!! Fractionate, contaminate
If you happen to be a patient who is watching this there is one glaring misrepresentation. For many procedures expect to have between eight and 12 people either surrounding you or behind the glass. Not to mention the personnel who are wander in and out
I’ve been a field service engineer on medical equipment for the past 17 years. This video hits right at home :) i am an advocate for my position. I try to encourage younger folks who are still indecisive about their careers to consider being a bio med engineer or FSE. 😊
