2 Corinthians 9:8 "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
Sometimes hope can fade as fast as being a few hundred dollars from being homeless. The battles of physical and mental illnesses, oppressions that many neighbors in the community suffer like depression. That leads to devastating ends to life by one's own life. Helping the community brings that hope to those without a light to guide them and feel lost and alone. Amen
Sad you didn't have any old friends that you could talk to and believe in you to help you get through that difficult time. I'm glad it worked out for you.
Life is the only blessing. We are not meant to exist on our knees but walk in his Grace on our feet. Live righteously, take care of your family, take care of your community. Be honest, be fair, be kind, give to anyone in need and live each day to the fullest with love in your heart. God's message is simple, follow his instructions you will find salvation.
I'm going to add "Confusion" to the list. When you do not really know what direction you're walking, you are lost so much easier. When you are confused, you do not hear God's message because you second guess the validity of what signs you are given. Like the holy trinity, you must work the body to stay strong, work the mind to stay sharp, and the spirit will be strong in the faith. If one of the earthly trinity of man/woman falls, so will the other two. A weak mind will wreck the body and the spirit, as a weak body will affect the mind and then the spirit will follow afterwards. And of course, you cannot have a strong body and focused thoughts if your spirit is low. To serve the Word, to serve God's Will, you must be strong enough to weather ALL storms. If you are confused, your spirit will easily be blow away right to Hell's gate. Like a lighthouse, the Lord's light will always lead you back into his divine grace...just look for the light if you feel lost and you will never be confused about where you are at in life.
I have a question please. My husband just last night for the first time in 3 years had gotten into the same bed with me to talk and to just be close but I jumped at wanting to have sex with him. It has been so long for me! Is that bad and could it push too hard? He has been tugged back and forth and God has been speaking to him immensely (based on what he's been telling me and the children). He has been an in-home prodigal for almost 2 years. Please help me with this question and please pray for us.
