Ima tell you how to get the definition you really want. You hv same hair type as me. First you have to develop your curl pattern. Meaning, we all already hv one. Just gotta bring it out. Keep your hair braided for 9 mos to a year and wet it daily, and add hair products like those as needed. Water keeps hair hydrated, hair-products keep the hair moisturized. Whn your braids start looking old, rebraid, but keep your hair braided, hydrated and moisturized. I think smaller size braids are best for more defined results. One last tip.....check out videos on baking soda rinse. It sorta loosens the hair folicles allowing hair to be more manageable. Do it before the 9 mo braided process tho.

You should consider getting a conditioner in your routine,The shampoo comes first,deep conditioner second,followed by a leave in conditioner and curl cream But looking at the products you have use the Cantu Define Custard with the Cantu Gel when styling

I didn't get Coconut Curl Cream in the store, i got only Cantu Define shine custand+ Shampoing Cantu+ Moisturizing Twist locks Gel Cantu... They can curl too plz?
hey ive done your method but my curls are not quite like yours they are more like short and coily instead of long and coily. my hair is 4 and a half inches long. please help
@trooperlancy you can’t prevent shrinkage since you have type 4 hair,it’s natural and means your hair is healthy But you can try using less products so it won’t weigh down your curls
@@Paulperk Appreciate you bro much love. onel last thing should i do cornrows or twist for more hair growth and should i spray rosemary water on it daily. I dont have access to any oils cause i cant afford them rn. Once again Thank you.
@trooperlancy you can try twist tho,cornrows tends to be very itchy if you can’t endure You shouldn’t apply the rosemary everyday,twice or thrice a week would do
I have 4c hair without curl pattern and want to try get curls, I’ve tried before but it didn’t work and my hair is more thin and straight and low porosity could that be the reason why? and if so is there any products or tips I can try use to define curls
Nice, I’m sorry, but it doesn’t seem like the product was able to actually get to your strands and it was over-applied. You have a beautiful and thick mane & it may make a difference if you slow down and rake your fingers through the stands from the root to the ends so that the length is fully coated. As a result you may be able to use less product and not need to soak it down as much. Then, once strands are fully coated, spray it down, rake through lightly massaging the scalp as you rake. This increases blood flow and can stimulate growth. It also helps to distribute the natural oils that get built up on the scalp. Finally go for it and shake it like you mean it. Cuz man, your shakeout was giving 1980’s headbanger vibes!! Awesomeness!!! 🙂↕️🙂↔️🙂↕️🙂↔️
Try to shingle or apply the product by pulling it through a section of your curls and finger coiling the straighter ends. You'll get a more defined look with the curls.
Results depend on your hair type. Also i noticed you shaking your head after applying the product. Shouldn't you finger comb your hair instead of shaking your head? Just asking since it seems you are trying to achieve a curl pattern.
