What they failed to tell you in the video are the cameras limitation, in real drain inspection scenarios. The cameras can’t pass more the 3 bends or 3mtrs. I know because I have one.
Yes. The cable is the driving force of the camera. If the cable is to flexible, resistance from the pipe surface and bends will over come the cable and it will just spring back when pushed. I have added some videos for example of the minCam MinCord 5 in use and you will see what I mean.
@@gleamtarrest6310it’s actually forming a tube inside the pipe. You wouldn’t actually use it in a p trap as it’s just not worth it but a good demo of the material flex.
SprayCoat epoxy is the best material for pipe coating; excellent chemical resistance (for example, gasoline and diesel), is approved for waterproofing and meets the ring stiffness requirements.👍
Too bad it's super thin liner and no epoxy in the lateral. Still a real good tool. We use it all the time. Highly recommend getting one. Mr Boldan, When will you put cutting heads on the back to stop it getting stuck after pushing through. To help retrieval?
Good video. The music made me anxious. Very annoying. No real need to make me feel like I was on an indy 500 race track. It would be great to have captions on points of interest perhaps even a question as to why you would need this and what problem it solves. The practical application. I liked the nice wide views. Nothing is hidden or needs to be figured out. Give the video guy a raise!
More than a hundred thousand homes have been fully relined (all the sewers) with the Boldan In-House Lining System. So, these tear-away liners must have been installed hundreds of thousands!
Curious how many pounds of force those grippers have. I’ve pulled out a 4-foot length root mass by using an auger bit but that one looks like it might work as well.
